I am uneasy thinking this, but I don't think very many people pay very much attention to politics. A few minutes on social media to see what their friends are talking about and a few minutes of the news they watch is all they want. Do 25% spend a couple of hours a day reading a variety of news? Most can just get up, get to work, come home, eat, and deal with friends and family matters. That is why the dumb political tv ads are so effective during elections and why 90% of national politicians are re-elected. Bad system. Rod, when I listened to multiple network news one after the other, they were using the same phrases just as Darian is trying to tell you. They did it most days for months. Only Fox was not doing it.
