Ha ha! Read my post again. Real slow this time.
Ok everyone out there, is it just me or does Richard have no reading comprehension?

God you're pathetic.  All you had to do was google "NBA or NFL, Congress" and you get an entire library of references about that stupid made-up list Greg posted: Here are the first few:

https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-congress-crimes-statistics-social-media-922895052628

And there are many, many more.

Why am I wasting time on you? exercise in futility.

That was the point.

You put it forth and then expected someone else to do your work for you.

Pretty much everything else I stated about you is quite factual.  I'll stand by it.

BTW do you still claim to be a conservative Republican as you did years ago?  wink
Wrong - that is not the point. The only point is that Greg's list is made up BS, as I just showed you.

But you want to believe in it - I get it! You go right ahead. Now quit your whining.

But that is not why I am posting!

While at Snopes I learned that Lee Marvin and Bob Keeshan (Captain Kangaroo) did not fight together at Iwo Jima, although both were in the Marines during WWII.  Lee Marvin did get injured in the Pacific Theater, he was awarded a Purple Heart, and he is buried at Arlington.  There's a genuine tough guy for you!  Captain Kangaroo enlisted weeks before his 18th birthday, but in his words, "We dropped the bomb before I saw action."  I bet he was still pretty tough!  So, I learned something today!

Jim
Hi Jim,

It hardly qualified as research - it was a one-minute Google search.  Yeah, I'm in no way proposing that a lot of members of congress are not morally corrupt or are not criminals.  I just wonder how and why some of the forum members here read something on the internet that is obviously bullshit, then swallow it hook, line, and sinker and repost it as if it's true.

Yeah, true story about Lee Marvin. I heard he was actually shot in the ass for that purple heart (I better research that one).  I agree - Lee Marvin's a tough guy! Great actor, too.  I wonder what Lee Marvin would think of today's internet tough guys? Maybe I'll use his picture as my meme so everyone will think I'm a tough guy, too.

Are you now trying to tell everyone you knew the list was bullshit when you posted it?  I don't believe you, but just for the sake of argument, you might want to clue in your defender.

You have to be careful with that one as we all know he can't follow along with a civil conversation and he weirdly zeroes in on the stupidest of tangents and minutia.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty simple.  I see you did, too.

It's amazing the volume of toxic response he generated.

And BTW:

Leave Richard alone!  Can't you see he just gets frustrated and acts out when he can't keep up?  Show a little empathy please.  We wouldn't want him going down that road that leads to angry lonersville.  Oh wait.....

Exactly!

Of course!  I'd love to have a good alternative. Trump or any one of his enablers/supporters sure ain't it.
