Wait, are you telling me that Jewish space lasers aren't real? Say it ain't so!

Stolen because it was better than anything he could come up with - he's a never-ending pot of comedy gold.

And supposedly you leftists are afraid he's going to run for president again.

I don't either. It's the gift to the Ds that keeps on giving - akin to political suicide. During the last few years, it seems like the GOP has abandon all concepts of common sense and strategic thought.

From the article:

"Despite having initially "bought into it" and "adhering to the requests" made of him, Robbins explained that his real-life encounters were ultimately at odds with what he had otherwise been told about the pandemic, anti-lockdown protesters, and the unvaccinated. This generated a sense of cognitive dissonance, prompting him to doubt the official narrative".

Yep, after all the smoke clears, he sees the truth
Trusting in the medical opinions of actors. What could possibly go wrong? LOL

Speaker of the House election

I have an idea.

They should nominate Richard Davis.

Wiki seems conflicted on this possibility:

"The Constitution does not require the speaker to be an incumbent member of the House of Representatives, however under Rule 1 Clause 8 of Manual Sec 26 of the House of Representatives, stipulates. "the Speaker pro tempore must be a Member of the House"

So, maybe?

Dave
I hear there's available seating adjacent to George Santos.

Apparently, this is the new normal. Shocking when (and if) they make progress, but not shocking when it's a funny dysfunctional shitshow.

That's a fact! It seems like half the time I look at art (especially modern art) I don't know what I'm looking at, and the other half I'm scratching my head at the price tags.  To each their own!

Enjoy that scope Brian! Hope you have a good road trip picking it up, too.
Thank you, Jim - I will!  It wasn't much of a road trip - 45 minutes each way.

I'd love to snag that astrograph Russ is selling but I'm sure it's out of my price range, even with the forum discount.

Have a great weekend!

I'll go first,  I think that wearing either pin (both pins being loved by the rabid core base, but hated by the opposition) is tone deaf to the vast majority of voters, pure divisiveness, and a really crappy idea.  The only people who like these stunts are the slobbering, "own those other bastards at any cost" factions of the base.  These pins are a microcosm of what is wrong with US politics today.

Jim
I hope both of those pins mean "vote me the hell out" to everyone out there.  Fat chance I'm sure.
