Actually I consider myself to be a fairly typical Republican of the "never Trump" variety. I am particularly scared that Trump will lose the nomination and run as an independent spoiler.
Consider this - if somehow the DOJ, the commission, or anyone else effectively removes Trump from the mix in 2024 - meaning that he is not the R nominee, and he can not run independently, the net effect may be that a different, more competent R is elected president. Especially if Biden or Harris is the D nominee. Jim
