Sooo many excellent pics posted lately---too many to respond to all because I'm so lazy. :S

Went on a cruise to the Southern Caribbean this past week. Got this pic in a Barbados animal reserve. Not sure of the type of lizard here---maybe one of you folks knows? Anyway, I'll post some more pics later in the week of some interesting critters not normally seen here.

BTW, it's snowing right now on Long Island! What a rude welcome home from Mother Nature. wink

Birds in Barbados

In the Caribbean last week on a cruise. Took these inside a wildlife preserve on the island of Barbados. I've learned I have a lot to learn, but these came out OK. It was a great trip. 8)

Green Monkey--Barbados Animal Preserve

They're called "green" monkeys because they are born with a slight green color that fades as they grow. They're friendly, but still wild animals. They will take fruit from you and eat it right in front of you.
