Climate experts predict temperature dropPosted By Robert Pasken |
Let's try this yet again. Weather is not climate. Repeat after me Weather is not climate :C The short-term effects of La-Nina/El-Nino are clearly seen in the instrument record that documents global warming. Yes, because of the El-Nino/La-Nina effect the 2008 global average temperature will be cooler than the trend line, but warmer than 2007 and warmer than previous years. The same thing happened in 1998/1999, when another strong El-Nino/La-Nina event occurred. How is this anything new, different or newsworthy over what has been discussed over and over and over again in this group?
