Hello,

Seeing was around 8/10 and 4/5 transparency. Here's my image of Jupiter today. Lots of activity in Jupiter. The oval BA is present. Note the dark round feature on the NTB. Note also that there are lost of small spots on the SEB/STrZ border to the right of the CM

Jupiter 2/24

Posted By Christopher Go

Here's my latest image of Jupiter. Seeing was good but contrast isn't that great because of the Moon close by. Note the "small red SEB spot". Note the huge blue Festoon at the EB and the dark barge on top of the STB spot!

The oval BA is also rising on the right.

Regards,

Chris

Here's my latest image of Jupiter under perfect seeing! The oval BA is rising on the right. The "small red SEB spot" is visible just past the CM. There are faint rifts and dark spots on the NEB. There is even a dark barge above the STB spot. And a HUGE blue festoon on the EB.

Chris

Here's my latest image of Jupiter. Seeing was around 10/10 with 4/5 transparency due to the moon. The GRS is close to the CM! Note the spots to the left of the GRS and the 3 darks spots on the right.

Jupiter 02/26 HUGE SEB Rift!!

Posted By Christopher Go

Seeing was around 9/10 but transparency was around 4/5. So much activity in Jupiter! There is a HUGE rift on the SEB. Note the "small red SEB spot" rising and already in the rift! Note also the small blue bubbles on the EB attached to the SEB!! There is a weird blue oval at the STB near the CM. This was noted by Damian Peach!
There are some rifts on the NEB.

Jupiter 03/02 A distorted GRS

Posted By Christopher Go

Here's an image of Jupiter on a night of terrible seeing. Seeing was around 6/10 so no fine details on this image!! Note the very distorted GRS!! This is due to an interaction with a spot which I imaged last Feb 25.

Jupiter 03/04 GRS

Posted By Christopher Go

Here's my latest image of Jupiter with the GRS. Seeing varied this evening from 5/10 to 8/10 with transparency at around 3/5. Note the spots on the STB, SSTB and the SPR! Note the spots to the right of the GRS and also an interesting dark line from the GRS cutting through the SEB!! It seems like the GRS is about to consume some more spots. The NEB has some rifts. And the EB is filled with blue festoons.

Chris

Hello,

Here's my latest image of Jupiter under 9/10 seeing conditions with 5/5 seeing!! Note the Oval BA very prominent. Is it disintegrating? There is a dark spot on the STrZ. Note the red spots on the NEB and a dark ring feature on the NTB.
