I am not sure that the Ds can not re-open the impeachment investigation and subpoena some witnesses, if that is what they want to do.  If they choose not to do that, it is on them.

Also, before I agree that they have failed to make their case, I would like to see how the D case unfolds in the Senate trial, with back and forth between the House managers and Trump's defense.  It could be pretty compelling stuff as is.  I was serious when I said to Russ that I am in "wait and see" mode.

Glad Warren declared to the world she does not want war with Iran. I wasn't 100% sure.
A lot of people probably think Iran would do whatever it wanted if she was president.
John Kerry did thank Iran after they captured our patrol boats and humiliated our sailors.

So Trump cannot ask for Hunter to be investigated. He cannot be investigated because it is possible the investigation would show he did something wrong. And that would benefit Trump. Nice racket!

Trump abused his power?

Obama used the FBI to surveil journalists. One at the NYT, one at Fox, a dozen at AP. That is abuse of power.
Fast and Furious, selling arms to drug and mob type people. One American death. How could Obama be ok with that?

LBJ used the FBI, CIA, IRS, against his political opponents.
JFK used the FBI, IRS, against his.
FDR used the IRS against media and opponents.

Dems want no charges on any serious Dem abuses.
