Preemptive whining

Posted By Tom Rodstrom

Jim Brown said:

If Obama loses it will be because the swing state voters are predominately fiscally conservative and Obama failed to convince these voters that he really means it when he talks about tax cuts for 95% of the people and controlled spending.

Now quit whining about the stupid/racist/cheater crap already!

Jim
If Obama looses, it will be because too many people drank the Republican "trickle up" cool-aid. The past three Republican administration's have spent like crack heads with someone else's credit card.

Why the economy fares much better under Democrats
On job and income growth, the record couldn't be clearer

President Bush's multitrillion-dollar tax cuts, which were strongly tilted toward the rich, could not prevent (and may even have contributed to) significant job losses. On the other hand, when Bill Clinton raised taxes on affluent people to balance the federal budget (while significantly expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit for working poor people), unemployment declined substantially. Under Clinton's watch, 22 million jobs were created.

Following Barack Hussein Obama's orders

This story just doesn't feel right.

1. The police say there are inconsistencies in her statements.
2. The B carved in her face looks like it was carefully scratched in.
3. ATM robbers generally grab the money and run.

Look carefully at the B. Notice how the skin is hardly broken, how the curved lines begin and end precisely at the straight line, how one of the curved lines looks like it has two starting points and that the B is reversed as in a mirror image.

This looks like something she scratched in a mirror, rather than something cut with a knife into a struggling victim by an angry assailant.

If this is a political hate crime, it is tragic. If it is a political ruse, it is just as bad.

The El-Hady page was in a section of the Barack Obama website that a supporter can post to without involving the campaign. It was not specifically endorsed by the Barack Obama campaign and has since been removed.

Obama infomercial, change............

Michael Koons said:

After leaning for months toward Obama, a snippet in his infomercial really irked me. I've heard time and again $250,0000, a quarter of a million, again, again, again. On the infomercial, the threshold was lowered to $200,000. What's next $150,000? Your feedback appreciated >sad
I noticed that too. It appears that he may be using IRS data to get more precise in his figures. IRS figures I've looked at break out data in $75K-100K, $100K-200K, and $200K-500K segments.

I doubt that the actual tax increase for someone who is making $250K would be very significant. The real target of Barack Obama's tax structure are the rich and very rich $2M+ who pay a smaller percentage of taxes than those in lower brackets (even without including Social Security taxes).

NPD Analysis

Tom the astronomer analyzes McCain's disorder, and shows similarities to Dr. Erich Fromm's diagnosis of Hitler:

McCain displays the following behaviors, which are among the hallmarks of pathological narcissism:

Subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and "ideals" (e.g., about taxes, country first). These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, reuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy to those who have less than 8 homes or who work for a living.

Ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image. This has to do with magical thinking. McCain already sees himself as president because he is firmly convinced that his dreams, thoughts, and wishes affect reality (he has a fantasy wife to prove it). Additionally, he denies the gap between his fantasies and his modest or limited real-life achievements (for instance, he sold out to get his dream job).

Feels that he is above honesty, incl. and especially his own principles (if any).

Talks about himself as if he is the center of the world and continually uses the worn out phrase "my friend" and craves to be the exclsuive center of attention, even adulation

Have a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his "mission".

Does not understand ever more complex rules in the convoluted world of grandiose fantasies and blind ambition.

Displays false modesty and unctuous "folksiness" but unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true McCain is revealed: intolerant, angry, condescending and disdainful of simple folk and their lives.

Sublimates aggression (often unsuccessfully) and holds grudges.

Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of wives and mates (running), leering image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it).

The rest is history in the making.
