George  became a political ranter, no doubt.

But his premise that 'the club' excludes 99.5% of all Americans  and does not give a flying flick about them other than as worker bees is spot-on.  

And the club's wealth threshold is far, far, far beyond the income of entertainers, even pro baseball players.  They are WEALTHY*.

*Chris Rock observed the difference between rich and wealthy (paraphrasing):  "Shaquille O'neill is RICH.  But the guy who pays him is WEALTHY."

The oligarchy exists in your country and mine and all over the world.  They are doing what they feel is necessary to preserve their power and wealth.  Democracy for all is poison to them.  A truly knowledgeable and educated middle class with the vote is what they hate the most.  Monetary control of political decisions is their modus operandi.

 I marvel at middle class folks who continue to choose to support their oppressors.  Especially in the USA whose entire existence is due to getting rid of their oppressors.

A wider look at the issue seems to indicate that the USA has a huuuuuuuge security problem concerning their classified documents.  No matter what party's folks have some or not or how many or how classified they actually are.  

Manila file folders and boxes of them just waltzing out of safe custody into the hands of way too many people. And, in some cases, staying in those hands for months or even years.  Emailing classified documents to who knows who... Who is sending them? To whom?  Why?  What security clearance levels do Congress members have?  Supreme Court or district court judges?  Secretaries of State? Committee Chairs?  V.P's.  Ex-VP's, ex presidents..... 

Who is going to tighten things up?  It's a mess.

It is more clear every day that every government official above the level of the caretaking staff has now, or has had in the past, classified documents on their laptop, in their iPhones, under the kitchen sink and buried in the backyard.  Surely this is the most bipartisan issue in American history.

I looked  at the numbers because I was curious if your implied claim held any water:

Of this total, $39.41 billion dollars was spent on economic assistance, $25.64 billion of which was dispersed by USAID. The remaining $11.64 billion dollars was spent on military assistance" - Wikipedia

"The U.S. government's total revenue is estimated to be $4.71 trillion for FY 2023... (State taxes are not in this number, just federal)

And math:   51 050 000 000. divided by  4 710 000 000 000 = 0.0108 or, as a percent, 1.08%
