The reports were that Trump, "Repeatedly pressured the president to investigate Biden's son." Trump did talk about Biden towards the end of the call. That looks bad but far from the overheated charges. Zalenski said the call was "normal" and "nobody pushed me."
There is a treaty, signed by Clinton, between the US and Ukraine that binds the respective countries to provide, "documents, records and other items to each other upon request."

I don't see how green-lighting Russia to meddle more and drawing a moral equivalence between Russia's actions and the actions of the USA is going to move independents to his column. Trump will never resign, impeachment in the Senate will likely fail, but politically this is incredibly bad not only for Trump but for down-ballot GOP candidates as well.
The statement does not help Trump! I do think that the interference in 2016 was overblown. The Russian ads hardly threatened the existence and very essence of our democracy. It was very hyped. It is true that the US has interfered in elections to a greater extent than Russia did in 2016.

edit-Can Warren beat a damaged Trump?

The Dems. The media. And everybody else that was so in the tank for Edwards. The NE shortened the charade. There must have been a worse vp, somewhere.

I would suspect a similar number of Democrats.

We are just on opposite sides. You think the Russians were innocent when Obama was president?

I can't be swayed by arguments that conclude Trump is a traitor.

Judge Andrew Napolitano On Trump's Call

Posted By Mel Maki

diGenova, who disagreed with Napolitano, says under article 2 the president is the chief law enforcement officer. He can ask anybody, citizen, or foreign leader a question and the office of legal counsel said receiving information is not a thing of value.

The more Jake pushed back on his nonsense and wild allegations the more frenzied Jordan got. Tapper had no choice but to just end the interview prematurely.
It is just wrong that Hunter Biden and his partner got paid $3 million for that position. Period. The media people that are trying to defend it do not look good. This is not a close call.

Most of the CNN and MSNBC personalities have been showing how one-sided their coverage is. If they call themselves news reporters they should be embarrassed. They have been getting a little emotional and too quick to defend Biden with their, "This has been investigated by everyone, he did nothing wrong." Some, like Tapper and some of the women I have watched are too involved and over the top for a news reporter with their defense of Biden.
The Biden ship is sinking.

Of course, this reporter for the Hill and a couple of other reporters that also have this take could be making all of this stuff up for a headline or to defend Trump. I think it more likely Biden has not been truthful.
