Jim,
Is Trump clever enough to have known for the last week that there is nothing in this that will hurt him and he has been letting his opposition build this up, only for everybody to be disappointed AGAIN tomorrow when it is released?
Maybe Biden will see more damage. His son had zero expertise and the money was huge-1.5 billion!
My guess would be it will be more dirt on Trump but not enough to help the people that are trying to take him down, be able to take him down.

Dems don't have white hats in this mess. The gas co. oligarch was able to pay Biden's inexperienced son hundreds of thousands of dollars and Dems turned their heads. Trump asked that it be looked into and Dems explode.
Lewandowski before the committee fell flat. The attempt to re-start the crap against the newest Supreme Court Justice fell flat. Now this bs. Would it matter to any voters if months from now the Dems were still bouncing around this crap and had made no legislative progress on anything?
The formally great Dem Party falls flat.

I am watching CNN and it is all impeachment. Guests Douglas Brinkley and others are marking this day as an historic day and making Nixon comparisons. Julian Castro is saying Trump backed himself into a corner with the admission he made an impeachable offense with the strongarm phone call. And on and on.

MSNBC guests are saying this will be different than Clinton because he had a lot of support. Impeachment-full speed ahead!

Does everybody agree that the Dems would be upset if Trump's son had Hunter Biden's job?
He has no expertise here. Period. It is completely clear he got the job for big money because he is Biden's son.

Why is it ok for Hunter?

You would defend Trump the same way? If his son had that job?

You hold Biden harmless like you would hold Trump harmless for his kid having that job.

Just now there are reports Biden was involved helping his son. Is Biden too sharp to do that? Maybe.

You can put the worst case spin on it. I can also go the other way and say the phone call was hardly the demise of our democracy.
People would have screamed if Trump's kid had that job.
An edit-Biden is now toast.

Do Dems really believe other presidents haven't had much stronger calls? Calls to the ME perhaps? Saudi Arabia, Turkey, calls Obama made to Israel? How naive. Schiff is a phony namby-pamby.
