While the $6,400,000,000,000 is better than $11,000,000,000,000, that's like saying 10 years in jail is better than 20 years. In reality they both suck. The whole thing is insanely scary.

Isn't one of the problems with the speculators is that they don't have to buy with there own money? They can buy a large portion of the futures with borrowed money (buying on margin).
