The Russian Government?

Come on, man, what next? Is your team going to start claiming that Hillary colluded with Russia to defeat herself? Wait too late. Fox News and Sean Hannity have already floated that sound-bite.
Nothing wrong with discrediting the report. You really think that bunch of partisan Dems told it straight?! Only partisan Dems think that bunch would not exaggerate as much as possible! They were Russians but the amount of Russian Government involvement and the amount the election was influenced was surely hyped.

It's all detailed in gory detail, in Volume I of the Mueller report. Read it; you may just be surprised.
And please don't say the report was straight because it was led by a life-long Republican!
That guy, like Clapper, did not determine the course of action.
It should be obvious to Dems, and painfully obvious to others.

I will remind you that the Senate is Republican-controlled and the Senate Intelligence committee consists of seven Republicans and 6 Democrats. The chairman is Richard Burr a Republican and the vice Chairman is Mark Warner a Democrat. It is a bi-partisan committee and a bi-partisan report by any measure.
It is hyped. No politician can stand up and say we don't have significant vulnerabilities. Keep an open mind. I think a lot of dirty doings will be exposed. Interesting how they tried to set up Popodopoulos with $10,000.

Debate

Everyday for over two years CNN hammered us that the president was a Russian plant. Russia was destroying the very essence of our democracy. Our gov was controlled by the Kremlin. Today it was dropped like a rock. Russia wasn't mentioned! Shows what BS it was. Or maybe Russia and Trump overnight just decided to stop doing this dirty deed! What a crock. CNN should be embarrassed but they are beyond that. Looks like their main brain, Don Lemon, moved on to racism. And why are people impressed with Sen. Booker saying you don't know the flavor of the Kool Aid you dip into? Few people have the ability to say something funny in a political event like that. Al Sharpton did it years ago. Reagan got a couple.

DOJ and the FBI under Obama tried to frame Trump. People that hate Trump refuse to see it. That's all.

Two MASS Shootings: Republicans Refuse To Be Interviewed

If you were granted all that legislation, what else do you think would help? Because you know that those laws would not make a big difference in our death rate. Outlawing 223, a most common ammo, seems wrong. How about 9mm? I think this and other shootings might have used 762.
I have been watching MSNBC. Do you agree white terrorism is our biggest threat? MSNBC keeps repeating, "...a single white male..." Their guest right now is saying Timothy McVeigh thought the police were on his side and supported what he was doing.

It is logical to say good people with guns have helped thousands of times. How often do criminals comply with a gun free zone law when they decide to commit a crime?  Some of the time? Hardly ever? Some of the worst shootings have happened in gun free zones. For some reason criminals want to be the only person with a gun. Should our laws help them?

What if the best rifle he could by was a rifle like my uncle's old hunting rifle where you pulled back a bolt, stuck a single bullet in, shoved the bolt forward then pulled the trigger......4 or 5 seconds between shots at least......maybe someone could have tackled him after the first or second shot, brained him with a chair or whatever...less carnage.... (my uncle was a good hunter with that - he got his deer every year....)

I do not wish to get into labelling guns as assault weapons or military style or whatever some folks call them - the debate devolves into a 'tastes great, less filling' labelling argument instead of hitting the main point.  It's high rates of fire and huge clips/magazines holding 20-30 or more rounds that are one of the main  problems no matter what you call the guns...Rifles that can get off a round a second need banning 100%.  Clips holding more than 3 bullets need 100% banning. Or no clips at all for rifles...  Make licensing for firearms at least as difficult and time consuming as licensing for an amateur radio license....make meaningful background checks and long waiting periods part of the process... (the Dayton perp  had a history in high school of making lists of people he wanted to kill and girls he wanted to assault...this should be part of his permanent record - should have been no guns for this guy, there was a police record of these offences....here - https://news.yahoo.com/classmate-says-dayton-shooter-targeted-180053657.html;_ylt=AwrCxnWod0hdY0YA.AIXFwx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByMjB0aG5zBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--   )

But he got a high-rate-of-fire rifle, big clips and ammo because IF he had a background check at all, it was not nearly thorough enough...

Dave
Dave,

Americans will think you are not a reasonable man if they hear you say our old western six gun also has a rate of fire that is too fast for you. How quickly should somebody be able to fire a second round? Ten seconds?
Outlawing 20-30 round magazines does not help your side as much as you feel it will. Small magazines with 10 rounds can be loaded into the gun in two seconds. A six gun can be reloaded in one movement faster than you would think using a small piece of thin metal called a speed loader.

Biden In the Lead

Posted By Mel Maki

I thought Biden was too male, too pale, and too stale. Does this prove the polls are meaningless or that Biden really could be the one that has to beat Trump?
If I was a Dem and had to watch Trump beat a poor performing Biden I would be speechless. Could even be a life-changing event.

It is concerning. Think Trump could beat one of the squad? Would the Dems let one of them run if she promised another member of the squad would be vp?
