Solar Filters For FSQ-106N

Company seven makes baader filters in cells also for about the same price. If you read Sky and Telescope remember the review on the coronado 40mm? If you look he has a company seven baader filter on his Televue. Its a white cell with teflon screws. I just ordered one and they didnt make my size for my FS102, so they are custom making it for me. Two to three week wait. Each filter is marked on the cell visual, or photographic.
There was also a place called 45 degrees south or something from new zealand who made an awesome wood cell baader filter. Ive ordered three from them in the past, and they were nice, but I believe they stopped for a while to free up some spare time, however they may be back in business again. Check out company seven..

6.3 Reducer for Mk66

I used a Takahashi FS78 reducer. It worked perfect for an ST7 chip. Field was flat..
I attatched it using a small ring that comes with the Intes reducer that threaded into the Tak reducer turning it to SCT threads.

All these were using the Tak reducer. I was at around 1350mm I believe at f9. I cant remember the focal length of the 6". I know you was looking for 6.3 reducer, I cant answer that one. I had an Intes reducer, but The field looked much better with the Tak reducer,although the reduction was only 25% with the Tak.

Definately, hands down, the sun in H Alpha. The pics you guys see online dont compare with the actual view at the eyepiece. If you havent seen it yet, youre sure missing something great. I speak for Daystar anyways, never seen a coronado.

I ordered a 7" tube only with UHTC coatings in January. I was told a 1 month wait at first. When the month was up, I called and was then told 4 months. So I canceled my order, and bought something else. Im without a scope right now is why I did this. I will get one when theyre readily available. The day will come when theyre in stock.

Man, thats bad. You make it sound like an adult attacking a child. So tell us, what would have been the right thing do?? "victim of Western aggression" you say. So quick have so many forgot about 9/11. Ill never forget seeing the Fuc&%@$ dancing in the streets over there. The US millitary does an excellent job of dodging innocent victims, and making so much progress at the same time. If it were SH, or NK theyd just Nuke everyone innocent or not, and people want to defend this??????

Grab & Go for Planets under 1K?

5" ETX. No collimation, and its own tracking mount, although the mechanics suffer a little, it does track. The tubes are very nice. I believe they make a 4" also which would be even more portable. No tripod needed really, a table would do just fine. Under 1k, and believe me, if you go the refractor route youll need a tracking mount and no eq mount is really portable when theres tripod legs involved. Just an opinion though I guess.
