Palin Stands By Her Correct Account of Revere's Ri

Posted By Mike Strieber

I don't care about her little gaffes and such, don't care whether she was factual or not, I really don't care about any of that stuff, all politicians say goofy things. What I do care about is that I firmly believe Sarah Palin will be the one person most responsible for Barack Obama's second term. If she runs and wins the primary I highly doubt she can beat Obama. Independents generally don't like her, and independents will decide this election.

However, what bothers me more is her media hound, make a buck at all costs, mentality. I don't begrudge anyone making a buck, and she is certainly good at it. But when it is costing this country another four years of Obama then I certainly have a problem with it. I always had doubts about Palin and this bus tour gig she's playing now really put me on the edge of just plain having disdain for her. But then she steps on Romney's announcement and tops it off with her smarmy, sarcastic "apology" to him yesterday with Chris Wallace which just left me with a total lack of respect for her. She's traveling around the country, hogging the media (which I believe is very intentional on the part of the media, they want her to be the nominee), and trashing Republican candidates. If she's running, I can understand some of it, if she's not, she's a just another superstar damaging our nation. I put her in the same category as Michael Moore or Sean Penn. One of these Republicans she is trashing is going to be the nominee, and she can't take her words and actions back. What is she going to do if the nominee is Romney? Not support him? Flip flop on all the trashing? Does she have every right to do what she is doing? Of course, but she also has a responsibility to act...well, responsible. She's being played like a drum by the media and the left, both wanting her to be the nominee because they know she can't win and she makes good fodder. Howard Dean comes out yesterday and says she can beat Obama? This is a big game being played here and Palin, and worse, the country will lose in the long run.

It's early yet but I already hold her responsible for the loss of the Republican candidate in 2012, because she's trashing them now, or because the candidate will be her.

ABC Video of Weiner Prior to "Confession"

I find this video of Weiner quite interesting. It's quite a contrast with his blubbering "confession". He definitely paints himself as a victim and is extremely self-righteous. It's difficult to have much sympathy for him. I suspect his only regret is getting caught.

Scroll down below the chest photo to see the video.

I have no doubt if he runs again he'll get the schwing voters.

Where were they during Clinton years?

OK, so someone 'splain something to me...

Here you have a direct quote from the former HEAD of the DNC, Kane: "Lying is unforgivable. Lying publicly about something like this is unforgivable, and he should resign," former DNC chief Tim Kaine said.

Now during Clinton's impeachment it was OK to lie, if the lie was about SEX. It was even OK to lie UNDER OATH... No way Clinton should have resigned, said the vast left wing conspiracy...

but now it's NOT OK to lie about SEX, even when it is NOT under oath... by any dimension a much lesser offense...

Seems the Democrats have a serious case of "situational ethics" mixed with a massive amount of HYPOCRISY...

What say you, libbies?

They say "nothing to see here, move along".

Will we see a redo of the last one with the GOP contenders tenaciously locked in a nerve racking debate about who hates evolution the most? Or, how about their years of economic policies during the Bush legacy that led us to overwhelming prosperity? No, wait, it;s their energy policy: "drill baby drill" but don't do it in my backyard! (Ditto for nuke power in Utah!)
Can't wait to hear about Obomarney care!
Bring it on!...

I see you got bored rummaging through Palin's email and trash cans, eh Rod?

Deal Or Dud?

Posted By Mike Strieber

david elosser said:

Is the new budget deal raising the debt ceiling good or bad? Both good and bad? Any opinions? Our government now owes more than our entire GDP (give or take a few cents for a few days). Anyone worried about that? The Bush tax cuts are still set to expire. No Problems? Some say Obama came out the political winner but the polls say otherwise. So who wins, who looses politically speaking?

David E

I can feel the tingle of recovery as we speak. It's so refreshing. The Caver in Chief lost this battle, as he has every other one he has engaged in, and some he hasn't engaged in. The debt ceiling battle was a ploy to keep our minds off Obama's 4 or 5 wars for a while. wink
