Obama Lied?

Posted By Mike Strieber

I like one of the comments...

"A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose your job. A recovery is when Obama loses his job." grin

What's he hiding?

Posted By Mike Strieber

Doug Matulis said:

Simple question, why would Obama as a candidate, president elect, and now president, why is he spending millions of dollars, over all this time period, to hide his school records and his official birth certificate? Other candidates and presidents have freely offered these records, the birth certificate being the constitutionally required document, why the millions of dollars?

Why is he doing it? Because he enjoys stringing you along, making you look foolish, and ensuring his reelection is in the bag. Three years into his destructive administration, the government about to shutdown, 14$ trillion debt, the middle east in turmoil, fighting three wars, Japan in ruins with a nuclear disaster, the economy in the toilet, unemployment at nearly 9%, countless broken promises, a society more than ever dependent on entitlements, and the nation on the precipice of collapse, and folks are still talking about his birth certificate. This is why we'll see four more years of Barack Obama.

I think his campaign slogan is..."they're still talking about my birth certificate."

So We Got A Deal

The Democrats thanked the Republicans and the Republicans thanked the Republicans. So what else is new?

I had no doubt it would get done tonight, Obama has a vacation planned tomorrow in Colonial Williamsburg. And you know Obama, nothing gets in the way of golf and vacations, not even wars.

Liberal vs Conservative: Biological?

In general, decision making prowess resides with liberals whereas emotional reactions and fear resides with conservatives:

That's pretty much consistent with what I've seen thus far in the literature...

From the article...
"The theories are best guesses."..."It's very unlikely that actual political orientation is directly encoded in these brain regions,..."

In other words, I'll never get back those two minutes of my life spent reading the article. wink

Texas Has Had The Best Idea, New Census Data Make Clear
http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article.aspx?id=568147

"The eight states with no state income tax grew 18% in the last decade. The other states (including the District of Columbia) grew just 8%."

"The 22 states with right-to-work laws grew 15% in the last decade. The other states grew just 6%."

"The 16 states where collective bargaining with public employees is not required grew 15% in the last decade. The other states grew 7%."

"The lesson is that high taxes and strong public-employee unions tend to stifle growth and produce a two-tier society like coastal California's."

Obama '12 grin

I think I'd rather have an ex-alcoholic as president than one who is boozing it up on duty. There's something a bit unpresidential about our nation's leader sneaking out back at the White House to have a smoke and barfing up the 12 pack of Schlitz he just shotgunned in the bushes of rose garden. wink

Boeing and South Carolina

This is an article written by the governor of South Carolina regarding Labor organizations trying to interfere with Boeing opening a plant in SC. It is matters such as these that reinforce my ill feelings toward unions. sad

I saw this the other day as well. If this doesn't prove Obama is not business friendly nothing will. And people wonder why jobs go overseas, or suggest "big business" is the boogyman, not the government with anti-business policies. Thanks unions, you're doing so much for the workers...Korean workers, Indian workers, Indonisian workers...

Of course this sort of stuff must wait, he's got Oprah to do and such.

Obama's birth certificate really is a fake!!!!!!!

Posted By Mike Strieber

Hey, just wondering if you guys noticed unemployment is at 9%; we're in three wars; the economy is in the toilet; we have a healthcare bill nobody wants; we have a crippling debt; we have a president on an out of control spending binge; gas is over $4.00 a gallon; entitlement programs destined to collapse; home prices continuing to fall; Iran building nuclear weapons; our city's infastruture crumbling as we speak; the entire middle east in turmoil; 65% of the nation thinking we're on the wrong track; oh, and I heard bin Laden was killed. Any of those ring a bell?

Just wondering if you guys noticed any of these things going on as well?

BTW, 70% of independents, the folks who will decide this next election, believe Obama was born in the US. If this is the republican platform in 2012 we'll have dem presidents for the next 40 years. But no, let's not highlight the fact that 65% of Americans believe we're on the wrong track, let's continue to discuss his birth certificate, even after the birthers were proven to look silly. What does that say about how the after-birthers look?

Obama Showed As Much Courage As Seal Team 6

The Democrat's coordinated word of the day is "gutsy". As they usually do in a national situation, they all use the same word.

But the top prize for the most sycophancy towards Obama this week surely has to be awarded to Wendy Chamberlain, Middle East Institute president and former US ambassador to Pakistan, who had this to say on CNN:

But he made that decision to go without telling Pakistan and that took some real courage, as much courage as our Navy SEALs did in pulling off a near flawless operation.

Wait until election time comes around. By then Obama will have done it all by himself...

So Who Do Americans Blame

A good third of it, if not more, comes from speculation. And don't give me the "world market" excuse which would be more accurate if you stated "world oil markets" since the price of a barrel of oil varies depending upon which country in the world you're referring to...

Remember the good old days when the media blamed Bush? Funny how that works.
