Steps towards Theocracy... what's up next?

It's nuanced, and I understand that nuance is not your forte, but I did not admit there was no coercion.
The guy is a complete waste of time.

Well I agree with that - the only people who should be afraid of a Trump nom in 24 are mainstream republicans. Trump lost the popular vote but won the EC in his first run, and then lost everything in his second run and he's less popular now than ever. Nominating Trump as the R candidate again pretty much guarantees a Dem win, but I suspect the two Trump fanboys think that it's the Dems who are afraid he'll run again.

I would love to see a reasonable R candidate, but we'll see.

At Least 6 Justices still believe in the Bill of Rights

Regardless, this alleged altercation is a sideshow. The testimony yesterday blows up the narrative that the riot was a false flag operation or somehow not planned. Trump knew the crowd was armed and meant harm and didn't care and encouraged the attack. Additionally, Trump and his allies have been pressuring and intimidating witnesses.

I know you are entirely intellectually dishonest, and this exercise is meaningless, but imagine for a second if Obama had told people to march on the Capitol because the Republicans stole the election and that Joe Biden was a traitor if he certified Romney's victory. All while knowing his supporters were armed chanting, "Hang Joe Biden." Then, afterward, he interfered with an investigation via witness tampering. Imagine all that Trump has done, project it onto Obama, and then ask yourself, "When my head exploded from right-wing indignation, would it have looked like ketchup on the wall?"
Ok that's funny.

Hardly.

So nominating the loser from last time and expecting a different result this time seems like a brilliant strategy for the Rs to you? That thought process is pretty much the definition of insanity at worse, and delusion at best. Similar to the delusion that convinced you that people voted against him because of "mean tweets", and not because he's an unfit buffoon. Some deep thinking from the Trump Fanboys right there.

The Rs desperately need to nominate an actual qualified candidate, or we'll have another four years of a D president. This is why it's the "reasonable & intelligent" Rs who are afraid he'll run again (corrected - thank you Russ), and not anyone else.

Apparently not. Those of us who do actually know bullshit when we see it didn't vote for Trump. LOL

I would answer that a life does indeed begin at conception.  So I would check the "yes" box too.  Anything that grows and develops organically is obviously alive.

I would say however, that life alone is not dispositive of the abortion question.  In my opinion, the more relevant question is a moral/legal/ethical question: "When along the timeline from conception to birth, and under what circumstances of conception, does the new life acquire a right to continued existence that supersedes a woman's right to control what is going on within her own body?"    Jim
Bringing nuance to a mudfight, huh? LOL
