That is about 20 bridges too far, I suspect.  I'm not sure of the computer programming nightmare that would ensue but my bet is that it would overwhelm the one guy who does basically all the IT for the site.  Administratively daunting as well.  You can sign up for CN with NO use of your real name, no credit card, meaning everyone would either have to sign up again using their real name or replace their handle with their real name, voluntarily.... either way, virtually impossible..

We should enjoy both sites equally, but differently...

Tastes great, less filling, etc.....

I'm a moderator of 4 different CN Forums.  I never go to those forums to read every new thread... I don't have the time, no one would.  Instead I sit and wait for "Moderator Alerts" from the membership at large.  Thousands of pairs of eyes constantly monitoring "my" forums who will spot things worthy of moderation, from bad behaviour to tech issues etcc, far more efficiently than one or two individuals could.

Yup.  I can't scour every thread on all 4 of 'my' forums every day - would easily take 2-3 hours....  Time I do not have.  The current system works admirably...  

The mods and admins are volunteers...

They wrote this claiming to be Buttigieg:   US transport secretary Pete Buttigieg said highway designs in the country were “racist,” and claimed that the new infrastructure bill would help fix it.

“I’m still surprised that some people were surprised when I pointed to the fact that if a highway was built for the purpose of dividing a white and a black neighbourhood, or if an underpass was constructed such that a bus carrying mostly black and Puerto Rican kids to a beach — or that would have been — in New York was designed too low for it to pass by, that obviously reflects racism that went into those design choices,” Mr Buttigieg responded.
