Meade lxd-650 mount

Does anyone have any experience with this mount and would they recommend buying a used one in excellent condition.
I am told the mount is (5) years old, but have also been told it would be very difficult to get repaired, if need be.

Can Losmandy GM8 Handle a C9.25

Is the Gm8 a good mount for the Celestron c9.25 for visual use.
I had a c9.25 on a Celstron cg5 and it didnt work well.

12" sct vs 10" dob

I am trying to decide between a Meade 12" lx90GPS or
a teeter 10" with sky commander and Stevens mirror
Scope will be my main scope and will not be trasported just used at home in my light polluted backyard
I have a 6" mak as a quick view scope as well
I have owned in the neighborhood of 40 scopes in the past 2.5 years, maybe more.
The small scopes just dont show me much.
Anyway for general viewing, no photography, both used, same price both in excellent condition

c8 VS 6" achro

For light poluted deep sky viewing, would you prefer an older c8 80's version not sure on the coatings or a 6" achro of a Celestron cr150 or Meade ar6 quality.
