Posted By George Andrew

On a final note this morning, Tuesday 9/30, I went to Starbucks to get some beans. And I noticed that they are selling Starbucks water named Ethos.

Mirrors?

Posted By George Andrew

The scope was built in 2004, so I'll guess the mirror was made in 2003-4.

Mirrors?

Posted By George Andrew

No one has answered my question. I guess there would have to be an independent testing lab take a look at a random sampling of mirrors from several companies to come to a conclusion. And we know that’s not going to happen, Schrödinger's Cat in the bag.

I get it though; some commercial mirrors are good, some not so good, some handmade are good, some not so much. Since we can’t look through each other’s scopes or better yet I can’t look through your. How can you tell you have a good mirror or not, without testing it? I guess I should have asked; visually what makes a mirror good when you are looking at objects? Generally when I look into my scope, the 12.5, the stars are very crisp. I’ll put my 13 Ethos in and the stars that are in the outside of the field are crisp also. I’ll have diffracting spikes from the secondary from time to time depending on the EP. I’ve scene the Vail with out the OIII in an ok dark sky spot. In the same spot I’ve scene the California nebula with the H-Beta. I don’t have DSC’s so I say for sure but several weeks ago I think I saw some galaxies in Pegasus that were not NGC’s but PGC’s listed in Sky6. I know this sounds like I’m trying to say my 12.5” mirror is great, but the views speak for themselves.

Now here is your chance to boast about your scope. What mirror do you have, what size is it, and what have you scene? Maybe we can get somewhere with this question!

Thanks Bush

You know whats funny about people like Jim is that he's only has one way vision, Republican. One of the major problems of being on the far right or left for that matter is that you cant see any other ideas. Because your vision being on the far right or left does not allow you to see any other ideas other then your own. Jim is one of these people.

Jim let me tell you something; this place is on the verge of becoming a third world country. We are on a tipping point and you’re to stupid to see it. But good for you for sticking up for your principles.

Just a reminder, the bail out was started by Bush. I guess you forgot that. He helped Wall St. and screwed Main St. Typical republican BS. Lets help out over paid a-holes with more money, there’s a great idea. Absolutely no transparency where the money went either. Another feather in Bush’s cap.

Who said Bush was...

It’s like what the republicans also did at their convention in Minneapolis-Saint Paul. Gassing peace protesters what a bunch or a-holes. Right wing is where they belong, right wing of the funny farm. I'm going to become a independent. This is not the party I joined when I became of age to vote.

Palin Owes Back Taxes

Posted By George Andrew

I wonder what Rush Bimbo and Sean “the jackass” Hannity will have to say about it. Knowing them they won’t bring it up.

Out of touch with reality.

It seems like we are revisiting history again. In 2000 Bush won the presidency, but lost the popular vote. More then half the people didn’t vote for him. As I have stated before I voted for Bush. With that said many people around the country did not consider Bush as their president. This seems to be the case now as well; many people don’t consider Obama their president.

I'm glad we will never know what McSame would have been like as president. He would have continued some if not all of Bushes policies. Especially with Palin as the VP. As a man that has a view of god from a scientific perspective. I don’t like religion mixed with my politicks. We would have had another Supreme Court judge appointed that would have helped over turn Roe verses Wade. Stem cell research would have been kept stagnant. We may have even started teaching Creationism in public schools. Plus the worldview of our country would have stayed the same.

The country, in my option was headed down the wrong track. We lost our way, I hope we find it again.
