Back around 2002 I tried to get started in astrophotography, and bought a used Tak EM-200 Temma, I used it for a year or two until it broke, then had to send it back to Japan for repair, it was a couple of years before I got it back, and by then I had lost interest in the hobby, I tried to sell it, and wasn't able to, so I stored it away in the garage and forgot about it. I haven't gone observing three or four times in the past 15 years. Sold most of my imaging stuff. I litterally stumbled over it trying to get to something else in my garage last week. I dug it out and tried to set it up, but the computer and software I used to control it back then are long gone. My new computer doesn't use Windows 98, doesn't have serial ports, I think I still have a copy of the Sky-Six somewhere, but will have to find it. I bought a serial to USB converter, but am not very computer savy, and don't have a clue how to get the computer to recognize it. Was hoping someone here might know how to help me out. Not trying to do imaging or guiding anymore, just want to be able to control the go-to functions of the mount. 

Looks like the dovetail rail is upside-down, try taking it off, turning it over, and re-attaching it the other way. Otherwise you'll need another dovetail rail. See how mine is attached in the image below. 

I have a 14.5" night sky truss dob, with a sky commander, and an equatorial platform, was in my 30's when I bought it, now I'm in my late fifties, it's not as light or portable as it used to be, and neither am I. Getting it up on the equatorial platform and all aligned isn't as easy as it used to be. I know technology has progressed, was wondering what would be involved in retrofitting it to be a Go-to, in terms of both the options and cost.
