Meade is offering an exceptional deal on their 102ED mounted on an LXD 650 through their clearance store...HOWEVER...I never see reviews of this mount...what comments I can find are somewhat neutral. Can ANYONE share their experience.

Are these good eyepieces (sharp/good edge correction?)...I seem to recall they get mixed reviews. Are these closer in performance to the UO 2 inch Konigs. They are Erfle's so are these obsolete or a good addition for DSO hunting.

Need a 40mm SWA as an addition to my collection...I'm using a C9.25 and wonder if the additional 8mm gives you anything dramatically different from the 32mm.

Just spoke to one of BO's dealers and there is no delivery date in sight...Burgess appears to be stuck in getting "components" produced for the 101mm...so it seems the "emperor still has no clothes".

Telescope Service in Germany is promoting their new RFT 1007 100mm F/7 doublet achromatic refractor that comes with a removable section to allow binoviewing without a corrector.
Fit and finish appear to be a huge step up from the typical Chinese refractor. You can find this at www.telescope-service.com and look under "latest news"...does anyone know anything more about this interesting product.

Telescope service of Germany is showing a new scope on their webpage (www.telescope-service.com)...it's a 100mm F/7 Fraunhofer doublet with excellent fit and finish...the neat part is that you can remove one section of the OTA to allow use of a binoviewer without requiring a corrector. Although they claim the OTA is assembled in Germany I'm assuming the optics are Chinese or Taiwanese...this group is well connected so does anyone know anything about this.
