I'm actually a little familiar with Helldivers, because I have friends whose sons play it, and phrases like, "Here fascist catch!" are things they say to one another all the time. Helldivers is a satire of fascism, and the premise is that you are a soldier in a ludicrously over-the-top militaristic government that uses propaganda to promote endless war. It shouldn't be lost on anyone that the game is also a parody of America. But when these kids say these things to one another, it doesn't have any deeper meaning other than they heard it in the game. I'm surprised one of the casings didn't have "skibbdi toilet riz" engraved on it at this point. If you spend any time around school-age kids these days, you will hear all kinds of popular culture references from games, memes, and internet culture that will make no sense to you.
