Trump: Progress Made On Ukraine "But We Didn't Get There"

Worse than that, even, Trump lied about the security of our elections regarding mail-in ballots, and then deferred to a de facto dictator regarding the trustworthiness of our election system. And now Trump is threatening to eliminate mail-in ballots for 2026. Imagine, imagine, if a Democratic President even did one iota of what Trump has done in the last 8 months. Federalizing state and local law enforcement and sending in the national guard and the military to police citizens alone would have made conservative heads explode.

Now, I'll ask for the 3rd MM in Michigan.

What did Joe Biden do in the 3 years in which he was supposedly running the show, and the time in which the War started under Joe Biden's watch to stop the war in Ukraine?

What did Joe Biden do to stop the war when he was in office, in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024?

Did he meet with the 2 Presidents to try and initiate Peace?

Please impress us with your incredible, logical, and reasoned intellect and delineate the ways that Biden did something to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine.

I'll check back here, and I'm guessing what I'll see is the regular massive failure on your part and the massive hypocrisy that occurs whenever you make your inane postings.

Now I'll ask again, what did Joe Biden do to stop the war?

What did Joe Biden do to stop the war between Israel and Hamas?  I know that your go to woman Rachel Madcow is one whom you listen to, so then give me Her evidence since you probably aren't capable of coming up with an idea on your own. Feel free to give her opinion since you apparently haven't the capability to come up with an answer on your own   smile

Biden and his team made significant efforts to stop the war in Ukraine. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. But to answer your question, first, they used sanctions against Russia that targeted energy, finance, crypto, and exports. Second, they made it clear that any peace negotiations had to include Ukraine, and that there would be no unilateral deals that did not include Ukraine. Third, they sent billions in military aid to Ukraine, supported NATO, and focused on coalition-building. The goal was always to support Ukraine so that it could negotiate a peace from a position of strength, while maintaining its sovereignty. What Biden and his team did is a far cry better than Trump's sellout to Putin.

The clown show gets more ridiculous by the day.

And to think we have 3 years and 4 months more of this clown show. This latest move to target and eliminate mail-in voting and now also voting machines that he deems highly inaccurate, expensive, and controversial is beyond the pale. It's so obviously yet another attempt to cheat in the upcoming midterm elections, but I'm sure the likes of Rich and other MAGA-types will somehow defend this move with outright lies and mistruths.

Looks like there will be long lines on election day. Mail in voting in Michigan is safe and secure and has been for years, but I still always drop mine off at city hall and give it to the city clerk. If you aren't registered you can't get a ballot, and once you get one and it's turned in you can't somehow submit another one.

It's ridiculous. It's an attempt to disenfranchise Democratic voters who use mail-in voting far more than Republicans do, and in no small part due to the conspiracy theories the GOP and DJT have spread. Of course, it will also impact other people who are merely caught in the crossfire, so to speak, such as elderly voters and anyone who needs to vote absentee. But when has this President, or the GOP for that matter, cared about who their policies harm?

I'm so sick of Trump and MAGA and the Heritage Foundation and their years of disinformation, culture wars, and power plays that put ideology over people's well-being.  The biggest mistake Democrats ever made was the adage, "When they go low, we go high," that Michelle Obama advocated for. From now on, the Democratic motto should be, "When they go low, we go lower." We have to fight fire with fire from now on.

Do you?

Of course you don't, because the conservative Right doesn't go out and firebomb the country the way the left does.

The right doesn't go out and attack cops and ICE with Molotov cocktails and engage in Ambushes on ICE agents, the way the Democrat left does, causing an 8 fold increase in criminal attacks on ICE agents and Law Enforcement.

The conservative right doesn't go out and gun down CEOs in Cold Blood the way Democrat leftists do, when they are angry about some insurance companies not paying for hospital services that they don't believe are covered.

The conservative right doesn't excuse the violence of guys like Luigi Mangioni, as leftist Democrats do.

The conservative right and Republicans don't take over colleges and Universities with their anti-semitism, threatening Jewish students on University campuses, the way the Democrat left does.

The conservative right doesn't go out and burn buildings down and beat up people the way the Democrat supported Antifa and BLM do, as they did in Minneapolis and other cities around the nation.

The conservative right doesn't have wives like Tim Walz's wife, who when the Antifa thugs and Black lives matter thugs were burning down Minneapolis, she told the nation that she "opened her windows so she could smell the burning rubber" when the BLM thugs were burning down cars and throwing Molotov cocktails at cops and other people whom they didn't agree with.

The conservative right doesn't try to kill politicians the way the Leftist Democrats do, as they attempted to kill Josh Shapiro, and the conservative right doesn't try to assassinate American Presidents the way the leftist Democrats do.  When the assassin tried to shoot Donald Trump, the left cheered and the polls that were taken recently show that the left feels it is OK to use violence to shut down politicians.

Polling showed that the leftist Democrats think it would be justified to kill Donald Trump.  55% of self-described liberal leftist Democrats when polled said that would be OK if it achieved their political goals.  That poll was conducted by Rutgers University.

The conservative right doesn't go to a ballfield to specifically assassinate Republicans playing baseball, like the leftist Democrat Bernie Sanders campaign worker did, nearly killing Senator Steve Scalise.

The conservative right doesn't go to auto dealerships the way the left does, attacking people and shooting up the dealerships, and shooting at the dealerships and burning down Tesla cars because they disagree with Elon Musk.

The leftist Democrats in a poll taken by Rutgers University said that they would be happy to see Elon Musk assassinated.  48% of those polled who self identified as liberals said it would be OK to assassinate Elon Musk because they didn't approve of him.

And since you wanted to go back 4 1/2 years, since it is ALL that you have, let's go back 95 years back to the day of the Democrat created KKK that assassinated blacks and lynched them, hanging them from trees, because the Democrats have always been the party of violence and anarchy.  You included.  smile

Pretty funny argument from the guy who is *constantly* bringing up years, if not decades old, whataboutery almost all the time!

I'm not going to try to change your mind regarding any of your misinformation and talking points, but suffice it to say that Jan. 6th was a unique and (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime violent attack on our democracy, so yes, it's going to be brought up a lot in any discussion regarding which side is more violent.

Non-Citizen Voting: A Myth

I doubt Rich and his fellow MAGAs will read it or hear about it in any of their right media outlets...

Another right-wing myth: Left-wing political violence is worse than right-wing political violence. The truth is, both sides have committed violent acts, but especially since the advent of Trump and MAGA, right-wing violence has risen dramatically, and it tends to focus more on harming people. For example, the white right-wing shooter in Buffalo, New York, who murdered ten people, all black.

If you do even the briefest of surveys of the data that is available publicly, it's clear that political violence today mostly comes from the right. That's not to say that the right has a monopoly on political violence. Still, on the whole, it's right-wingers and MAGA that are engaging in the most political violence today. For example, Reuters did a special report in 2023 where they looked at 213 cases of political violence since the January 6th attack on the Capitol, and they found that of the 14 fatal political attacks where there was a clear partisan motivation, the political right committed 13 and only one was committed by the left. The bottom line is that there is plenty of evidence of willingness to use political violence on the right and the left. If you are not willing to admit that, then there is no point in even discussing the matter.

Yet another right-wing myth: Crime in Democrat led cities is worse than in Republican led cities. The truth is that crime has almost no correlation with the party affiliation of those in control. Factors such as poverty, education, substance abuse, and urban density predict crime trends far more accurately.

Disgusting corrupt Pigs Judge Engoron and Letitia James, get their asses handed to them on a platter, and with Letitia James that would be 1 Gigantic Platter!

As I stated here long ago, and as stated by many other conservatives and legal scholars, the fine was so exorbitant that it violated the US Constitution's 8th amendment.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/appeals-court-throws-massive-civil-144304109.html

$515 Million dollars of a fine based upon on a sham trial where nobody had any damages and the witnesses like Deutschbanke all said they were completely happy with their dealings with Donald Trump and said that they would gladly do business with him again, but that wasn't something the corrupt Judge and the corrupt Letitia James wanted to hear.

The left just had a big deflation of their massive egos and the RINOs here must be crying in their soup as well.

Another win against the Mafioso-like Leftist Democrats and another win for President Donald Trump.   smile

So what? It's not like this changes who Trump is and what he's done.  He's still a fraudster who exaggerated his wealth for decades. And he's a rapist, a sexual predator, and a serial adulterer. We all heard him boast about being able to sexually assault women without consequence. We've all heard him repeatedly sexualize children, even his daughter. We know for a fact that he defrauded his charity for political purposes. He lies about literally everything and never takes responsibility for anything. He is a profoundly broken and flawed person. So, again, so what? This ruling doesn't erase Trump's well-documented history of fraud, predatory behavior, and habitual lying, and these facts aren't speculation; they come from court rulings, settlements, and Trump's own words and actions.

Why do you expect other people to have shame regarding their hypocrisy when you are unabashedly hypocritical all the time? You impugn the character of us, and Democrats, and anyone else who is left of Attila the Hun. Yet, you defend and make excuses for the hypocrisy in the Republican Party all the time. I'm pretty sure that in your mind, you don't engage in hypocrisy or that the Republican Party does either, which is entirely laughable. The truth is, Rich, and I know you will deny it, you exhibit the most political hypocrisy of anyone on this forum.
