Epstein Files and the Client List

Man those 2 sick puppies really are something, don't you think.

I'll take it that you approve of those 2 and their sickness since you voted for both,

It's simple. If Biden, or Clinton, or anyone else is in the Epstein files, and the evidence proves they are guilty, then they can fry. I don't care who it is: Bill, Hillary, Chuck, Gates, or Trump.

By the way, from what I have read, there is no verifiable or credible evidence that Biden showered with his daughter in any inappropriate or recent context, despite Ashley's stolen and leaked diary from her childhood. The writings you are referring to were, in Ashley Biden's words, "constantly distorted and manipulated." Ashley has written letters to judges and given several interviews stating how her diary has been misused and mischaracterized to attack her family inappropriately.

FACTS have been proven to be TRUE according to Snopes and they indicate specifically the "shower" incident(s).

But not to worry James as I expect you to continue to vehemently deny the FACTS that Snopes and Ashley Biden say are TRUE.

I'll check back in a bit to see you spin on your head like a top, in desperation trying to excuse your hero Joe Biden.  This should be fun!  smile

I never said the diary and its contents were not real. As usual, your reading comprehension needs a tune-up.

The diary, from Ashley's childhood, was stolen and leaked by Project Veritas. Project Veritas has its sordid background and history. Still, the relevant points are that a) Ashley would have never released the diary on her own, and b) since its theft and leak, she has told judges, journalists, and anyone who will listen that the diary has been distorted and mischaracterized solely to attack her family. So, yes, the diary is authentic, but the author herself states that its contents are being distorted and misunderstood.

Even those who are pedophiles and who spent many days on pedophile island deserver to present a defense before they are found guilty in the press.

I think the right thing to do is to withhold or redact any files that name people , until such time as those people are indicted for a crime.  This is the way it has always been done.  I think it is possible that someone with proper legal training got to Trump and convinced him that it simply would be wrong to release a huge list of names to a press feeding frenzy.  I get it that Trump promised to release the list, and that MAGA America wants the list, and that the D's need the list because they think that this is a winning strategy in the upcoming elections.  (The Ds will never learn.)  So once again this whole show is Trump's fault, in large part.  But Trump is doing the right thing by withholding the list.   Indict first, then name names later.  This is the only just procedure.

My guess is they will never be released, and as you have aptly pointed out, for good reason. It is fun, however, to see Trump hoisted by his own petard.

Are There Actual Signed Trade Deals?

"Of the six agreements Trump has reached with leading trade partners ahead of a self-imposed Aug. 1 deadline, only one is signed."

"The one signed agreement, inked with the U.K. in May, was also light on details, with the implication that the two governments would negotiate further to implement the high-level commitments they made."

"The remaining agreements — with the EU and several Asian countries — have yet to be committed to paper. Instead, Trump disclosed the deals on social media following a phone call or face-to-face meeting with his foreign counterpart. The terms Trump has outlined aren’t always echoed by the other parties."

"Vietnam, meanwhile, has still not confirmed the U.S. tariff rate that Trump claimed the country agreed to in an announcement he made on social media earlier this month."

"The Indonesian government, meanwhile, is disputing the claim, included in a White House statement released last week, that it agreed to “remove restrictions on exports to the United States of industrial commodities, including critical minerals.”

Mainly, there are only understandings or frameworks for further negotiations. And the tariffs are starting to push up inflation, which is one of the reasons the Fed voted to keep interest rates unchanged. The uncertainty regarding how the chaos of Trump's tariffs will affect the economy long-term is not helping. The irony is that if Trump had done nothing regarding his trade wars, then he would probably already have gotten his rate cut.

Davis believes that, too!...

It appears that the benefits of front-loading, which some businesses implemented at the start of Trump's tariff chaos, are now running out, and many companies are also choosing not to absorb the tariffs anymore. We will see what happens in the next 3-6 months, but I'm betting lots of Republicans wish Trump would quietly stop all of his tariff nonsense before the midterms get here. But hey! At least we are getting a White House Ballroom decked out in gold embellishments, I'm sure.

Trump: Progress Made On Ukraine "But We Didn't Get There"

John Bolton's take on the meeting:    https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/15/politics/video/bolton-trump-putin-alaska-summit-digvid

That said, as expected, Putin got his photo-op on American soil, his troops continue to assault Ukrainian positions with the aid of North Koreans and his foreign minister wore a sweater to the summit with the letters of the former soviet union emblazoned on it. That should tell you something--Trump was played--again and Ukraine wasn't invited to the table, either...

It was a propaganda coup for Putin, and not much more. I'm sure the Ukrainians feel betrayed, given how Trump rolled out the red carpet for Putin and fawned all over him.

Also, Trump's State Department left sensitive papers behind on a printer at the hotel they were at.

Papers with U.S. State Department markings, found Friday morning in the business center of an Alaskan hotel, revealed previously undisclosed and potentially sensitive details about the Aug. 15 meetings between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir V. Putin in Anchorage. Eight pages, that appear to have been produced by U.S. staff and left behind accidentally, shared precise locations and meeting times of the summit and phone numbers of U.S. government employees.

And, Trump used Putin to undermine our voting system and democracy in the US, as if Putin knows anything about honest elections.

WASHINGTON, Aug 15 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin agrees with him that letting voters send in ballots by mail puts honest elections at risk. "Vladimir Putin, smart guy, said you can't have an honest election with mail-in voting," Trump told Fox News Channel's "Hannity" after a nearly three-hour meeting between the leaders in Alaska. "He said there's not a country in the world that uses it now."

Right, because if Biden and his team had left Trump-Putin documents on a hotel printer, you would have been completely OK with that. And if Biden had used U.S. soldiers to roll out the red carpet for Putin, and fawned over him and deferred to him on election security and integrity, you wouldn't have had a problem with it. And if Putin took a victory lap after a failed summit with Biden by blasting footage of his royal treatment on the global stage all over Russian state TV, you would have been happy with it. We are not moronic or psychotic; you are incapable of seeing your biases. Unless you would have been completely OK with these things under Biden, you should not be OK with them out of Trump.

Trump's unhealthy fixation on winning a Nobel Peace Prize is clearly looming large over his decisions and actions. Putin was more than happy to exploit that desire in order to win a propaganda coup. Trump can't stand it that Obama won one, and he hasn't. Trump denies it, of course, but at the same time, he keeps bringing up that he deserves one. He has some attention-seeking disorder, that's for sure.
