At this point, it's a stupid, irreconcilable mess. Neither Musk nor Trump can back down since it's not in their nature. But I'm okay with it, and I hope they continue to air each other's dirty laundry in public and make all kinds of outlandish threats that destroy their credibility and brands. Maybe at some point we will learn something exciting too, that's not just about entertainment value.

Not so sure I want Musk's commercial brands damaged.   I had crap internet at our place in the mountains before StarLink.  With Starlink I have great broadband, and so do many rural folks around the world.   I do not drive a Tesla, but I have been in them, and they are very nice.  Also, SpaceX is doing amazing things no government or other private space agency does.

Musk and Trump have hurt countless millions by now, using their wealth and power to push their particular brand of ideology, whether it's DOGE that was responsible for hundreds of thousands of people needlessly losing their jobs, or Trump's endless attacks on democracy, the rule of law, and his revenge campaigns. Any harm that comes to them personally from this ridiculous feud is fine by me, but of course, it would be regretful if even more innocent people get hurt as a result. Regardless, those two seem to be poised to do more real damage to the common and public good, no matter what happens.

I think most of us are close to completely recovered, but as you said, no growth. Over the last two years of the Biden administration, I had two consecutive years with returns of almost 15% or better; that was amazing! I doubt we will see that kind of growth under Trump anytime soon, given his tariff policies, and his policies that are determined to set back American academics and research for years, if not generations to come.

The Jan 6th rioters were not insurrectionists even though you and the rest of the radical left do so regularly.

I'm guessing that you might want to lie along with many of the lying leftists in Congress who say that on Jan 6th Police officers were killed, just as Joe Biden got out on his platform, lying, saying that they were.

JD Vance made the claim on X that "insurrectionists carrying foreign flags..." about some of the LA protests. They were probably Mexican flags, and if you know anything about the demographics of the part of LA where it's happening, I'm sure Mexican flags are displayed all the time. Calling them insurrectionists carrying foreign flags is purposelessly misleading, lacks context, and is bombastic. Stephen Miller has also referred to them as "violent insurrectionists." The point is, and I'm sure you will miss it entirely, is that the Jan. 6th rioters are far more accurately described as insurrectionists, instead of what's happening in LA. And to be clear, anyone who breaks the law in LA deserves to face the consequences. No one is excusing violent behavior, but calling it an insurrection and trying to invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy active duty troops against civilians is borderline fascism.
