In short, no, there is no end to his delusions. He thinks the Constitution and laws do not apply to him either. He spent his whole life using his wealth to avoid responsibility for anything and cover up all his mistakes, so why should he act any differently now?

I don't know why there isn't more collective outrage from the Catholic community and the church. I don't why the WH isn't being picketed right now. Where's a resolution from congress condemning what he did?

We/they are all on outrage overload. You stop caring after a while because of the near-constant daily barrage of outlandish behavior and whiplash leadership. Take, for example, the recent stunt where they lined the WH with photos of all the people they have deported, along with their alleged crimes written in large, bold letters below their mug shot. The first thing that came to mind when I read about it was, "Yikes! Why is this any different than hanging bodies from the ramparts!" But nary a peep from any opposition groups, because they were all too busy reacting to the trade war? It's true what Bannon said, "Flood the zone with shit," and disorient everyone.

Ah, yes. Two of my favorite narcissistic traits are on full display in Rich's post: toxic nitpicking and weaponization of any personal detail someone shares.

"Lutnick Skeptical of Cutting Deal With Canada’s ‘Socialist Regime’"

God, you're so fucking stupid, Donnie.

Not to mention, official US statistics show that the actual trade deficit with Canada for 2024 was about $36 billion, not $200 billion. Not only is he stupid and delusional, but he also lies almost constantly.

He was so bent on putting me down to make himself feel superior that he could not come to recognize my achievement.

I referred to him as the clueless idiot after that and I was not proven wrong.

Trump haters will not ever acknowledge ANY achievement from his policies no matter the significance (shutting down border as an example) and distort anything to twist the truth to make him look like a loser.

They will bend themselves into pretzels to justify criticism (bring back gang member for due process when Jan 6 accused citizens sat in solitary confinement awaiting due process).

He won the election because of that so get used to the Trump supporters supporting his agenda.

But you won't stop and I know my father didn't and he left this world without a single friend mourning him.

Chris

You've tried to paint Trump as the victim when he's not. He deserves every bit of criticism and scorn heaped upon him. The sad thing is that you unwittingly voted for the political equivalent of your father. It seems you are still subconsciously, at least, trying to gain approval from your father.

Not to mention all the things Trump says he will do, but never will. Re-open Alcatraz? Fat chance. Invade Greenland? What the actual f--k? Seize the Panama Canal? The man is delusional. Takeover Gaza and build nightclubs. End the Russian-Ukrainian war, very easily. Build the wall and make Mexico pay for it. Bring down grocery prices on day one! Introduce a health plan for every American in two weeks! Eliminate the deficit, very quickly and easily. And so forth... What the actual f--k is there to admire about this awful human being?

I did a bunch of research a few years back when Richard posted that J6 defendants were being held in solitary without due process, specifically before they were even arraigned.   I documented that this was a complete fabrication, not on Richard's part, but by others whom Richard believed.

It is not legitimately arguable that the J6 defendants were denied due process.  I think it is arguable some J6 defendants were over sentenced in view of the nature of their relatively minor crimes.   The pardons moot that point of course.   I think it is also entirely true there were pardoned J6 defendants who really ought to still be in jail for a very long time.   The Oath Keepers who illegally moved weapons into a VA hotel room prior to the rally, for example.

Last point, I am not sure who is bending themselves into pretzels to demand due process for the alleged gang members.   Everyone is entitled to an appropriate level due process - murderers, gangsters, rapists, the whole lot.  There are no pretzels to be bent - due process is not negotiable, and it is not optional.  We posted quite a bit about this a few weeks ago.  Due process for everyone, including criminal illegal immigrants, is such a fundamental feature of a free society that I am truly dismayed to hear the government and it's supporters attack the courts who are defending due process rights, and questioning whether or not due process has been observed in the more notorious cases.

In any case, I am glad Trump has closed the border.  I am not pleased with his economic policy.  Not at all.  I have always liked Rubio, and hope he can score some foreign policy wins before Trump burns him out or jettisons him for "stealing the limelight" or most likely before Trump cans him for insufficient loyalty.

I'm glad you addressed the Jan. 6th defendants being held in solitary confinement without due process conspiracy theory. It's incredible how these lies get legs and traction and never go away, regardless of how much counter-evidence or context is provided to the faithful believers. What's the saying? It's easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled.

Trump's Trade Deal With UK: "Smoke and Mirrors"

At this rate, he will quickly run out of ways to destroy the economy, as if prescription medications are not expensive enough already. I wonder if drug shortages and even higher costs will finally change the minds of his supporters?
