Where's Rudy?

"It Was Legal"

Meanwhile, Trump. after reiterating his call was "perfect", traveled to a rally in Mississippi, where he railed against Hillary's emails while the crowd chanted, "lock her up".
There you have it...

The ability of the Republicans to deny there was wrong-doing is only going to get worse. Have you seen the 302s that are being released by BuzzFeed after they obtained them through an FOIA request? The records show that Manafort was still working for the Trump campaign just days before the election. Gates knew the timing of the Wikileaks releases. Flynn was asking around Russia for the emails. In a nutshell, they were pushing to obtain the stolen emails, so it looks like they have been trying to work with foreign governments to dig up dirt on political rivals for a long time. None of it should surprise us, though since Trump admitted to Stephanopolous in an interview sometime back now that he would gladly accept dirt about a domestic opponent from a foreign government. There was a big brouhaha after that interview, and Trump and his team walked the comment back, but as usual, if you listen to Trump, he is entirely transparent and tells you exactly who he is.

$100.00 Saw Works/Trump's Wall Doesn't

And that's money that has been diverted from the defense department, too.

The GOP defense of "no quid pro quo" is about to become as defenseless as Trump's border wall. The House Investigative Committee released the testimonies of Yovanovitch and McKinely publicly. So far, it has not disappointed. There was a months-long pressure campaign laying the groundwork for Trump's "perfect call." Well, the GOP wanted transparency, so here comes the transparency.

The only reason why Trump is not currently under indictment is that he is a sitting President. Charges would already be pending against any other person who had done similar things. The only constitutional recourse we have is impeachment, and that is moving forward. The political peril, as well as the legal danger for the President, is increasing all the time. If you do not realize this, it's because you are willfully ignorant about the testimony so far. None of it is favorable for the President and his partners in crime, and all of it is from reliable and first-hand sources. Many federal laws relate to Trump's abuse of power and criminalize them. However, as I said before, the only constitutional recourse we have is impeachment, and that will happen. Trump's impeachment is inevitable. Removal from office is not likely. Indictments, after he leaves office, are a real possibility unless the incoming President pardons him, but that, of course, doesn't stop all the state-level indictments that will haunt him for years and decades afterward. Just look at the recent ruling about the Trump charity by a New York judge. Not only did the Trump family have to admit to persistently illegal conduct and close the charity, but they also had to disperse any remaining money to the United Way, the United Negro College Fund, and the Holocaust Museum. This ruling is fitting since the most significant misuse of funds was $264,000 to renovate a fountain outside of a Trump property in New York City. History will judge Trump as the most incompetent and corrupt President we have ever had no matter what happens, and it's a well-deserved judgment.

It's not wishful thinking. There are millions of people that agree with me; in fact, three million more than agree with you, and Trump's impeachment is at this point inevitable. The only thing Trump has managed to do is somewhat rehabilitate the image of George W. Bush since he is so much worse than any of us could have ever imagined. Trump has committed multiple crimes, including extortion and bribery and obstruction of justice and witness intimidation. The only thing keeping him out of jail right now is that he's a sitting President. This pathetic excuse for a public servant has such a fragile ego that since being booed at the World Series game, he's been to multiple sporting events looking for a subservient audience. This man is such a snowflake, he finally fled to Alabama, where students had to be threatened not to boo. Once the public hearings wind-up, he's just going to lose it more. The Republicans have no facts or witnesses to defend him, and the evidence will be overwhelming. It's going to be a terrible week for Trump.

The funny thing about this story is that it's just one more example of how Trump projects all his misdeeds and sins onto all of his opponents. I'm old enough to remember when Trump accused the Clinton Foundation of "pay for play" and quid pro quo. Never mind that multiple FBI investigations never uncovered evidence enough of wrong-doing to charge the foundation with anything. It's uncanny how much Trump accuses his opponents of what he has done. I'm afraid he can't "no puppet" or "no collusion" his way out of the current mess, though, no matter how many times he repeats "no quid pro quo."

Imagine the howls of indignation that would have emanated from the GOP and Fox News and Richard if Obama had said that he was going to attend a May Day parade in Russia. Trump does it, though, and they don't even flinch. These are the same people that completely lost their sh!t when Obama shook hands with Raul Castro and called him a boot-licking disgrace. It would be funny if it weren't just so sad to see the GOP turned into the cult of Trump. Hillary tried to warn us that Trump would be Putin's puppet, and boy was she right.

Lev Parnas, one of Giuliani's Ukranian buddies who was arrested and charged with corruption, is a never Trumper and unreliable. They are all guilty of treason and human scum! It would be funny if it weren't all so predictable.

There is nothing funny about that; it's merely vulgar and childish.

This story is funny though because it shows why Trump hates wind.

Trump Organization ordered to pay $290,000 after losing battle against Scottish wind farm

President Trump has a long-standing disdain for wind power that has carried over into his political speeches. Trump has said windmills cause cancer, kill birds and prevent people from watching television when the wind’s not blowing.

The 11-turbine wind farm in Aberdeen Bay began operating last summer and is clearly visible from the fairways and greens of the Trump International Golf Links, Scotland, outside the northeastern city of Aberdeen.

During the planning process for the wind farm, the Trump Organization sued the Scottish government to block it. Trump was angry at what he called a "monstrous" project and said the turbines would destroy the view of "perhaps the greatest golf course anywhere in the world."

That's right. Trump hates wind-power and claims it causes cancer because of this, and yet some people still think he is a genius playing 37-dimensional chess.

GOP Senators On Upcoming Trial

Most likely, the Senate will vote to acquit. Impeachment in the House is almost a certainty. Trump will lose the popular vote in 2020 by an even more historic amount than he did in 2016. He has a real chance of winning the electoral college again. All subject to change, of course, as facts on the ground evolve.
