How many babies from unwanted pregnancies caused by rape, incest, addiction, fetal abnormalities, and many other social problems have you adopted and supported and fed and clothed? Does the fact that you have done nothing to help with an epidemic of unwanted pregnancies since the overturning of Roe v. Wade make you a hypocrite? You claim to be pro-life, but yet you hypocritically imply that other Americans are baby-killers simply because they recognize that sometimes abortion is health care? So then, you are merely a hypocrite? Are you a fraud and phony conservative? If conservatives are so concerned about every fertilized egg being life, why haven't they done anything to legislate IVF? And why do they not care about IVF yet want to ban certain forms of birth control because they believe life begins at conception? And if life begins at conception, why haven't they done anything to change laws so that child support starts at conception? I thought Republicans were pro-life and cared about babies. Furthermore, if Republicans care so much about babies, why do they always oppose anything that would expand socialized care for children and wellness care for pregnant women? Could it be because they are phonies, and what they care about is controlling women?

By your standards, you are a raging hypocrite and phony, and on top of that, the Republican party is so full of hypocrisy that it's almost limitless. For example, the Law and Order party voted a convicted felon and rapist into the office of the Presidency. On his second day in office, he pardoned 1600+ criminals who rioted during the Jan. 6th Capital insurrection. Conservatives say they care about criminals on our streets who come from over the border, yet they cheer the pardoning of 1600+ convicted criminals? Those pardoned included some convicted of treason. You and the Republican party have lost any standing you could have to call anyone else hypocrites or phonies.

Now, Trump is begging OPEC and Saudi Arabia to increase oil production. What happened to America first, and drill, baby, drill, and he will make domestic production boom? Egg prices are still high and will likely go higher. Grocery prices are not coming down. Trump has not ended the war in Ukraine, which he said would be easy and accomplished within 24 hours of taking office. Trump has a long history of broken promises and is already off to a great start regarding breaking many more. Talk about lying and hypocrisy. And the fact that you ignore and make excuses for all of these sins makes you the biggest hypocrite of us all.

As I stated in another response to you, I do what I'm able to do.  For me to adopt a child is beyond absurd and would not be possible or feasible.

And certainly there are many pregnant women out there who are pregnant by rapists and incest, however that number is an incredibly low percentage of all pregnant women.  

It is less than 1% by rape, and less than 0.5% by incest.  

Now then, the solution by leftists like yourself is to say "Kill them all".  So you obviously have really struggled with this I see.  The easy solution is to kill babies in the womb out of convenience.  

And most abortions now are done for convenience.  The party of death doesn't care though and it seems to me that neither do you.

Not to mention, all the current reports are from favorable sources, so who knows what's taking place? It's so funny that Rich acts like Democrats want criminal illegal aliens in the country. None of them like that, and ICE and the DOJ have always worked to find, arrest, and deport these people. So, all the outrage and fake indignation is laughable. Besides, even if the reporting is 100% true, I doubt it is, then only 998,500 more to go to a million! Even if they could accomplish 150 every three days, and they can't, that amounts to 178,000 in a year—a far cry from 1 million. Even I underestimated the amount of chaos and insanity Trump has created already. The whole point seems to be to flood the field with cruelty, ridiculousness, and illegalities so that we are all distracted and numb and can't react to the truly awful things they want to accomplish. It's unbelievable that so many people voted for this kind of leadership. And to think that Rich dares to claim that Biden was a power-hungry tyrant? Trump is completely acting like a King who believes God put him there, and he alone has the power to change the world however he sees fit.

Hi David, that was probably me doing the pooh-poohing. I am feeling a bit vindicated since it is obvious Trump is using the threat of tariffs as a negotiating (or threat) tactic, but would (or at least his economic advisors would) prefer not to actually implement them.    J

But what has he successfully negotiated? Other than some overtures and platitudes about more cooperation regarding border control, there is not much. In the meantime, markets are roiled and volatile because of Trump's erratic and unpredictable behavior. During the campaign, Trump promised that tariffs would magically and overnight lower American prices. Now, he's saying the tariffs are about immigration and fentanyl. Trump has changed his tune and now says there will be economic pain due to tariffs, but it will all be worth it to make America great again. This is the most feckless and harmful negotiation I've ever seen, and it's also mostly wholly unnecessary.

Obviously, Trump did not get a complete epic win, like he would typically claim, and the presidents of Mexico in Canada can claim they were successful too. I’m OK with that. So, the cartoon David posted immediately above is funny, but of course inaccurate/oversimplified. Also, I would argue that the stock markets are no more roiled than is typical.

I have not yet studied the Panama deal, but it looks like Rubio/Trump were able to make some progress disentangling Panama from Chinese influence. That is good, wouldn’t you agree?  J
