It garners widespread condemnation from all corners of the political world and the internet. Rich is one of those strange people who can hurl homophobic and misogynistic insults all day long and then, in the same breath, claim he's not homophobic because he has a gay nephew and insists he's not misogynistic because he likes women (at least as objects of sexual desire, as far as we know). Apparently, in his mind, trying to insult someone by claiming they are committing acts primarily associated with gay men is not homophobic, similarly when it comes to his attempts to insult people by assigning what are traditionally considered to be effeminate characteristics to them. That is a whole lot of cognitive dissonance and lack of self-awareness.

One last question. What do you think White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis saw when Elone "waved" at the crowd? It was a stupid thing to do on Elon's part unless you intended to blow a dog whistle announcing gratitude for the far-right support that helped Trump get elected. It's impossible to know for sure, but it's still foolish to do during a presidential inauguration.
