Got get that ol' standby diversion dusted-off and ready for a redux. It's time for Hillary's emails version 2.0!

Unbelievable really. It's almost like they don't realize that abuse of power is what got them in the current mess.

I think the White House is quite rudderless in their response to the scandal so far. They decided for example that the best public face they could put forward this weekend would be Giuliani, Stephen Miller, and Jim Jordan. Really? The performance by Jim Jordan on CNN SOTU with Jake Tapper is one of the most embarrassing spectacles I've seen in a long time. The more Jake pushed back on his nonsense and wild allegations the more frenzied Jordan got. Tapper had no choice but to just end the interview prematurely.

Mel,

Regardless of what you think the Biden's may or may not have done in Ukraine, it has no bearing on what Trump has done other than to be just more distracting what-about-ism.

Ivanka Trump works at the White House; she has virtually no qualifications for the position she holds.

Jared Kushner works at the White House; he too has virtually no qualifications for the position he holds and has been identified by our enemies as easily manipulated and even our intelligence communities raised concerns about his abilities and qualifications.

Giuliani's son works at the White House.

Barr's son-in-law works at the White House.

Barr's daughter works at the Treasury.

Trump's sons do all kinds of foreign business that benefits from their father's position as President.

Ivanka gets Chinese copyrights and patents and Suadi grants for her businesses.

Is there a principle here you want to enforce or not? Because if you want to make Hunter's dealings an issue, which by the way have been investigated multiple times and found to be legal, then you better start screaming about all the nepotism in the Trump administration. Otherwise, you are just engaging in partisan hackery.

Trump is losing it. He has threatened the whistle-blower with retaliation, accused one or more of his top aides of being spies and suggested they should be executed, declared that Schiff has committed treason simply by repeating Trump's own words, and he has threatened to foment a civil war if he is removed from office. This is why I say he is royally f-cked. He just doesn't have the coping skills to deal with a real crisis or scandal and is running out of people who are willing to defend him or supply his narcissism anymore. All he's doing at this point is making things worse with all this irrational behavior.

This is what narcissists do though when they lose their source of narcissistic supply. They become angry that they are no longer receiving special treatment and react with rage and contempt and belittle other people to try and regain that false feeling of superiority. It boggles the mind to think that anyone would perceive this mentally unstable man as being competent or trust him with our national security.`

I knew it was just a matter of time before it was debunked. I've seen this same sort of stuff from these GOP clowns and their cronies as well as from their supporters. It takes a week or so before the determination comes out from the world of reality versus the alternative universe some of these people apparently live in...

The IC IG posted a statement regarding its handling of the whistle-blower complaint: https://tinyurl.com/y22t7ocp

The rules didn't change recently:

"The Disclosure of Urgent Concern form the Complainant submitted on August 12, 2019 is the same form the ICIG has had in place since May 24, 2018..."

Hearsay is allowed:

"In fact, by law the Complainant – or any individual in the Intelligence Community who wants to report information with respect to an urgent concern to the congressional intelligence committees – need not possess first-hand information in order to file a complaint..."

Can anybody say it wasn't because of his father?

There is a difference between wild allegations and hearsay, but seeing as how hearsay is allowed when filing complaints, all I can recommend at this point Mel is that you consider becoming a whistle-blower too.

They are buying hundreds of thousands of e-minis, and speculating the market will go up. In one trade, the volume amounted to 40% of the trading volume for that day, and they netted a tidy $1.5Bn profit. It's happened enough times now that it has caught the attention of the SEC and congressional committees. It's just a matter of time before another scandal embroils Trump using the power of his office corruptly.

The economy has always been his security blanket, and the assumption is that people will vote based on their pocketbooks and the desire to maintain the status quo. It does not consider that people are tired of Trump, that they don't think he deserves a second term, and other essential facts such as Trump has done nothing to endear himself to independents and swing voters. If anything, Trump has driven away voters that would likely vote for him again, such as minorities.

It is fun to look at what else Moody Analytics predicts that conservatives would not accept without question. For example, the cost of climate change by the year 2100 will be $54,000,000,000,000.00, according to Moody Analytics. Senator Elizabeth Warren has a thoughtful and sound plan to reform Social Security that would result in making Social Security more solvent and so forth and so on.

Another accurate predictor of US Presidential elections is the Iowa Electronic Markets. The IEMs consistently have an error rate measured in single digits of percentage. These futures markets have always been showing Trump losing by 10% for most of 2019.

Thats gotta sting SNORT!

Trump green-lights an invasion by Turkey into Northern Syria that results in atrocities and war crimes. Then you expect us to give him credit for a tentative cease-fire that wouldn't have been necessary if Trump wasn't an impulsive and impetuous moron incapable of long-term strategic thinking? Not to mention, the "cease-fire" amounts to a total victory for Erdogan, who gains everything he wants and pays no penalties for his aggression. What a great deal maker! Create a problem that didn't exist. Give everything away. Get nothing in return. Unbelievable.

Besides, I'm not complaining about the cease-fire. The point is that once again, Trump impetuously swoops in and craps all over everything creating a disaster where there was none, and then when he returns things to the status quo, or in this case makes things worse, your side acts like he's some genius deal maker. What deal has he made that he deserves any credit for anyway? North Korean nukes? No deal. China trade war? No deal. Iran agreement? No deal. Infrastructure? No deal. Health Care? No deal. The wall? No deal. The pressuring of Ukraine to investigate Biden? No deal, and the impetus for what will undoubtedly be the worst scandal in Presidential history. Trump is the most prominent phony, and con artist Washington DC has ever seen.
