The worst 'leftist POS', the most rabid antifa or the most disgusting white supremacist, the worst murderer, the worst rapist, the worst whatever you can name criminal that you have absolutely no sympathy for STILL HAS CIVIL RIGHTS under the constitution of the United States.

To be arrested by unnamed, unidentified 'officers' and placed into unmarked vans and taken to some unknown location for an unknown period of time violates your constitution.

So, according to you Mr Rachal, does every accused have these rights?  Or only those you agree with?

Can't we just transport the cast of "The West Wing" and put them in office?

The benefits are such that they work 150 days out of a 365 day year, which means they WORK 150 days and have 215 days OFF.

If they work for 40 years in Colorado, they retire with 100% of their HIGHEST salary they ever achieved in their working life, meaning that if they retire at 100% and they are 60 years old, for the entirety of the rest of their lives taxpayers have to pay them 100% of their salary for the next 20, 30, or 40 years.

The benefits package alone is worth 10s of thousands of dollars every year for working less than 5 months out of a 12 month year.

That's a pretty damned good deal.

BTW, the product they put out is pathetic.  In Baltimore they have the 3rd highest costs for public schooling in the nation, and at 13 of their public schools in that city the percentage of children proficient in Mathematics is not 80%, not 60%, not 25%, but it is 0%, that's right ZERO percent of children at 13 different public schools in Baltimore are proficient at math for their grade level.

The Unions don't give a DAMN about kids, they are all about their members.

P.S.  And I challenge any leftist out there to come up with numbers that disprove the facts. Hey Rod, show us how underpaid teachers are in Cal, since you claimed it.
Richard is wrong #1:  There is no state in the US that has a 150 - day school year.   State by state school year

Richard is wrong #2:  Colorado teachers pension calculation:  2.5% x (average of best 4 years salary) x years of service....(i.e. years of paying 8.38% of gross salary into the Pension.)
So for a teacher to get 100% of their salary they would have to teach for 50 years.   So, graduate from college at 22 and retire at 72.  Mr. Chips, anyone?      Colorado Teachers Pension Details

Ah, I committed an error I was fond of trying to prevent in my students.  Check Your Work!!!

Ontario's pension is the same formula except 2.0% a year.  I used the wrong number.

So a Colorado teacher can achieve a 100% pension after a 40 year career.  I suppose some do...But very few overall...

Colorado school year is 172 days.  https://statelaws.findlaw.com/colorado-law/colorado-compulsory-
education-laws.html

My entire career in Ontario was under a 194-day school year, BTW...  I wonder what we must have done with an extra 4 weeks of instruction compared to Colorado...

Finally, to anyone who trots out the old "OMG teachers make too much money and they only work x hours a day and they only work y days a year and they have z months off" complaint I ask this:  How old were you when you first realized that teachers got the summers off and made piles of money?  And what steps did you take to get a cushy, overpaid and underworked teaching job?

250 000 maskless Bikers are in Sturgis for the Harley Davidson rally.    After the rally these idiots will fan out across the lower 48 on their way home, infecting roadside restaurants, gas stations and motels as they go.  Surely this will help the virus go away...

Federal Judge To Trump Campaign: "Prove It"

Posted By David Cotterell

Given, for the sake of discussion, that significant (whatever that means) fraud occurs when votes are mailed in:

Who is casting these fraudulent votes?

Democrats only?   Republicans only?

The notion that only one side cheats is preposterous, knowing what we know about human nature...
