picture 4 shows the Gen 3 Night Vision Eyepieces! Yep, just ~turn them on~ and use just like any other eyepieces. They gain about a magnitude on stars and galaxies. Ummm... oh yeah, I DID build custom 1.1x barlows to access focus, pretty much parfocal to the Naglers.

Hi, Rod. Thanx for that report. Were you guys using a ParaCorr? (at lower mags). I find your observations encouraging, because I'm building that 36-inch F3.75... and was just a bit worried, regarding whether that is getting too fast. Which eyepieces handled the F3.3(3.8) gracefully? I have Naglers and some Ethos (which are too much field for my recessed eyes). 2500X ?! Lord Ross says, "Yep." Tom

Hi, Rod! That's sobering. Sleeping in the dark is also crucial to good health. The concept of a (bright) night-light is also stupid. Just enough so you don't stub your primal bare toes, and can find the toilet, is sufficient. Well, I'm going to post a few of these at neighbors who sport outdoor lights all night. Tom

That's cool! (cool...heh)... We can increase the output by swabbing it off with isopropyl alcohol. Just be sure to turn it off first, and let it cool off. Otherwise, it could crack. Tom, maxiflux Tom
