Image by Tony Hallas taken with 206EDF and new QSI 8300 camera. 12 x 20 minute exposure. Note the cool tidal effects around some of the galaxy clusters. Taken on a night of very poor seeing.

Rolando

Rolando,
can you imagine that posting such images can be very painful for people like me who could not make a single image since january 13th? 8)

Here is a quickie M27 LRGB taken with 206EDF refractor and STL11K camera. Testing the field flattener for this scope. Image reduced 50%

Terrific image, sharp, and beautifully processed 8)

I remember AP advertising for the 155EDF that was claiming that it would outperform astrographs twice its size. This is also the proof for the 206EDF...

Roland Christen said:

This image was taken by Gilles Cohen in France in an urban highly light polluted setting. PK 164 is a very faint planetary nebula that shows up somewhat in H-alpha.

This image was taken with a 155EDF refractor at F5.4 and Baader 7nm H-a filter. Exposure length 14 x 15 minutes. Camera type QSI583 WSG, guided with Atik 314L on 900 mount.

Rolando

Nice! But good equipment helps a lot wink
