My question is to know if the Zeiss refractor 63mm Telemator model is a good telescope for double star observation, and if anyone have compared this telescope with others for double star.

A good 3" refractor Apo for a good image.

Hello,

I am looking for a good 3"(75-90mm aperture), I am searching definition, contrast and sharpness in the visual image, not search CA, I am visual observer and like double star,planetary and wide field.

what is best for this, a fluorite doublet, maybe a triplet ED...?

-Best contrast and sharpness.
-Best CA correction.
-Best portability.
-Best mechanic.

In accordance with your opinion, you think that this Apo is on top with difference of others Apos?

There is difference with the FS-102, it is a f/8?
Is the same tube lenght in both?
