Hi again all 8)

Took this shot of M11 a couple of weeks ago.It was getting low so I didn't get much exposure on It but I've never shot It before so I wanted to do It anyway.
These were 4min x 5 subs captured aligned and combined in AA3 and processed in PS.
I used a SXV-H9C and a WO 105ED triplet guided on a G11 mount.
All comments and advice is welcomed smile

Well sorry guy's just want to get in the spirit of things and post an M42 I shot last month .
Very short exposure time on this cause the sun was rising at the time, but It was such a beautiful site so I had to have It. 8)

I used AA3 to capture align and combine and PS for post-processing.

Exposure: 60sec x 8
Telescope: Wo 105ED
Camera: SXV-H9C
Mount: G11

Well guy's I picked up a Wo ZS66 SD apo today and thought I'd give It a test run before the clouds came in.

Exposure: 10min x 4
Telescope:Wo ZS66 SD apo
Camera: SXV-H9C
Mount: G11
Software: AA3 & PS

NGC 6231

Hi all

Managed a couple of clusters last night before the clouds came over with the little ZS 66SD.
This one is the beautiful Scorpius open cluster one of my favourates.

Exposure: 4min x 15
Camera: SXV-H9C
Telescope: ZS 66SD
Mount: G11/guided with SXV-autoguider
Seeing: 5/10
Software: AA3/CS2

M42 & The Runnng Man

Hi all 8)

Ok so It's not the greatest shot in the world! but for me It's a first getting these two on the chip.
Again clouds came in so I didn't get the exposure time on this that I wanted to and I didn't get the shorter subs to paste into the core...well there's always next time.
This was shot with a SXV-H9C through a ZS 66ED,guided on a G11 mount.
Exposures were 4min x 7 and AA3 used to capture align & combine with CS2 for post processing.

Hi all

This is another shot I took a couple of weeks back,exposures were 10 minutes x 13 shot through the ZS66 and an SXV-H9C,guided on a G11 mount.
I've got to say that I was expecting better results with the exposures I got on this but I guess there's a lot more that makes a good image than just longer exposures.

Hi guy's

Well It's been a while since I collected any new data on my chip, so I thought the heck with It! and took off up to Coonabarabran for a couple of days.
This is one of the shots I got, a first for me at the Rossette .
Exposures were 20min x 5 captured through the ZS 66SD/.8 reducer with the SXV-H9C and guided with the WOZS 110 on a G11 mount.
The skies were at least mag 7 and the seeing was 6-7/10 and I highly recommend this spot for any visiting northeners.
For those of you that don't know of this place that's where the AAT 3.9m telescope is and which was only about 10 minute drive from where I stayed.
These giant telescopes are an awesome sight 8O !

This was another shot I got in from my Coonabarabran trip, and another first for me.
Exposures were 2 minutes x 30 and again shot through the 66SD/.8 reducer with a SXV-H9C guied through a ZS 110 on a G11 mount.
AA3 used for combine & align and CS2 for post processing.

These objects are very low for us down under but I wanted to shoot them anyway because I've never done them before and they are a great target!
Again the ZS66SD/.8 reducer was used and the SXV-H9C on the G11 mount guided by the ZS110.
I used AA3 to capture align, combine and CS2 for post processing,no darks or flats were used. 8)
Oh yes I almost forgot,the exposure were 10 minutes x 12 .
