A couple DSLR questions

First, I'm using a Nikon D70s.

I'm having trouble getting to focus on a Mak-Newt. (MN56) It seems like I need in-focus, is there a way around this problem? Is there a low power "barlow" type lens for this? Will I have as much trouble on a Schm-Newt?

Second, advice/recommendations on stacking, focusing software would be appreciated. Please keep in mind I have a Nikon. (I think some are Canon only)

What do you mean hand held, was this eyepiece projection and you were holding the camera?

Could you give me the info on your filter?
I'm hoping to do the same thing on Saturn.

Also, I'm trying to find good sources of info on the Atik. I'm just getting one (used). I know folks are having great success with them, but the support issue is troubling. So, any help there would be appreciated.
