Planning to buy a Meade 127ED/APO EMC with 650 mount, just want to know if this is a good decision for a second scope to move around and to go star parties...Does it have good optics for an APO ??

Focuser meade Refractor 127 APO

I have a Meade 127 Apo and I want to remove the electric focuser, It does not seem to work properly, just want to know how to fix that problem or how to remove the focuser so I can get another focuser for it.
Please do give me some options or.

I have a LXD650 mount and a Meade 10" OTA with a losmandy HD style dovetail. I'm looking for a plate that fits / connects the LXD650 mount and the Losmandy dovetail.
Hope somebody can help me. Suggestions are welcome.

Losmandy G11 cables help

I finally bought a nice used Losmandy G11.
I'm really happy with it.
I just have one question;
Can some body help me with connecting the cables and wires.
The Dec and RA cables are ok, but I have a few other cables, one that splits up in two and so, and I just want to know if I do the proper hook up.
Since there is no diagram or so with the mount I would love that some one can email me e picture of his Losmandy G11 wire / cables hookup or a drawing.

Saturn from Hawaii - Feb 10

I just want to post some of my Saturn images. This one is taken with my Meade 10" on a Losmandy G11 with Sky commander.
Only registax processing was used and it seems that color setting of the ToUcam was wrong, and the scope needs collimation.
Seeing was not so great but I just gave it a try.
Meade 10"f/10 -
ToUcam 840 -
10 fps -
IrUv baader filter

If somebody want to play with these images, please do
Just want to know if there is a possibility to sharpen
the image and bring out more detail ?

another Saturn from Hawaii - Feb 10

This is another Saturn picture taken with my Meade 10"
I used the 2 X power mate, seeing was not so great. Scope needs collimation.
ToUcam 840
10 fps
IrUv baader filter
Gain 25 %
Processed in Registax, no other software was used.

If some body wants to play with the image to bring out more detail and sharpening, please do.

Saturn from Hawaii - Feb 11 Meade 14"

This is another Saturn image taken on February 11
with my Meade 14"LX200 UHTC, seeing was not great.
Meade 14" f/10 - no power mate used.
ToUcam 840
10 fps
IrUv Baader filter
I think the Saturn storm is still clearly visible.
Only processed in Registax, just want somebody to play with the image to bring out more detail and sharpening ?
