I have a Minolta DiMage Z2 that I use this way. It can do 800x600 ay 15fps or 640x480 at 30fps. The video format is Apple QuickTime. I use the QuickTime software to convert the file to .AVI, and turn it over to Registax from there.

When I shoot at 800x600, a 45 second movie takes up about 50 meg in .MOV format. When I convert it to .AVI it will expand to over a gig.

Holy cow, that's amazing. What size of scope are you using?

I managed to catch the ISS transiting the moon last night, but I can't hold a candle to your picture. This was done with an Intes MK67 and a Minolta Z2. The video was taken at 15fps, and then stacked in Registax.
