Hello !!!
Yesterday night using my new telescope, I took a picture of Jupiter showing the red spot and other clouds and bands.
12" MEADE LX90GPS
and a Canon A620 Digital Camera using the movie function.
Image was processed in registax. (1200 frames)
Still the focus on the camera is not very good, but until now is the best picture of jupiter that I have.

Hi !!
I would like to buy a deep sky imager to use with a 12"LX90GPS telescope that I have, but I don't know if I will be able to use it since I don't have a wedge.
I see in the little tutorial video they have at the MEADE web site, that they use the camera with a telescope without a wedge.
will that work?

Hello !!
I wanted to share a picture that I took yesterday night.
I used a 12" LX90GPS and a Canon Rebel XT iso 1600, 30 seconds exposure,
white balance: daylight.
Also, reduce size in photoshop, reduce noise, and adjusted curves a little bit.

hello !!
I was setting up my scope tonight and I saw something strange and blurry moving very slowly in cassiopeIa, and I took this picture. only 13 seconds exposure, Canon A620.
Maybe space junk?
did somebody else see it?

Hello !
A picture taken last night.
12" LX90GPS, barlow 2X, and a 13mm eyepiece.
Canon A620.
Used RegiStax to stack the frames. (690), only 510 were used.

Best saturn tonight

Hello !
I just took this picture of Saturn, and so far it is the best I have taken with my equipment.
12" LX90GPS, Canon A620 on video mode, and Steadypix camera mount from orion. Picture Window Pro 4.0 for processing and registax to align 1733 frames.

From a 12" to 8" what do you think?

Good morning everybody,
I just have a question. I own a Meade 12" LX90 GPS telescope, I love it, but
it is too big for me to keep in my apartment and to carry on my car.
Sometimes I want to take my scope to do an observation, but as soon as I see
that big heavy thing, my interest in going outside is vanished..
I am thinking in getting a smaller telescope, same type, but smaller (8"), so I can carry
by myself, fit my car and my apartment :-)
Do you think it will be a huge difference from a 12" to an 8" ? I know the size is
one of the most important things on a telescope, but will the views be drastically
reduced compared to the 12"?
thank you for looking and if someone can help me to figure out what to do or something,
let me know. I would really appreciate any comments.

.mp2 to .avi conversion

I have a similar program.. I bought it yesterday for $27.00 because I needed it to convert my mpg files to avi too.
I can give you the registration name and the serial number so you can use it for ever. You don't have to pay me anything for it, I just want to share.
