After seeing all these gorgeous pictures I am a bit taken back about this picture
Though here it is I finally decided to set my Nikon 995 up to my scope with a Meade 18mm super wide, this morning. Here is my first shot ever. Now all I have to do it learn how to foucs this thing and get the cmaera set properly

I would like feedback too, please be kind

Well here is another try from this morning
this time tired to stack 25 images, though I still have no idea what I am doing as you cen tell and I have not mastered focusing this Nikon 995 yet

Took this shot of the moon last night. I figured that I would try an object that I new that I could focus on. Now I know that the camera can be focused.

My first CCD Image M51

Took this image last night. When the moon was down and before sunrise 4:50 am est. - 6:00am. I say first image since the last two were taken before I read Ron's book. Well most of it, I got the book Thursday. This one was after it. I have the Darks, and flats but stumpt on how to make the core unburnt. Oh yes this is done with average too, when I use add the stars are just not quite as round but the arms in he galaxy look better.
Image was taken at Fl 3573, f/11.9 Sbig 8i,STV guiding

Funny I took this shot on Friday night
FULL MOON and all
You can see the left side of the picture is lighter than the right side, due to the Moon

Will try again when the Moon leaves us

This was done with a Tak FSQ
First try with this scope, fourth overall CCD image taken so far

Here is a photo of my scope and myself in my observatory.
The scope is set-up for imaging right now and you can see in the background green blow up furniture. I rest there while the camers does some work.

Ap now has a prototype of a new ocular that they want to produce.

Maybe they read this forum?
Actually it is said to have been in the works not for 8 - 10 months

So now we have AP, and TMB headed into the high end planetary oculars

Even if a person does not use the classified section of Amart, there is enough usefull inforamtion in the Forum section that this site is better than any publication one can subsribe to.
