Thanks Paul! I have just give up on the C11. The problem really is the optical quality of the C11 which is quite bad. Below is the image of the C11 taken when Jupiter is a little higher and slightly better conditions than my C8 image!

BTW, are large aperture SCTs really that problematic? After reading horror stories on C9.25s and C11, I am having second thoughts on getting this kind of telescope! Tomio's C11 will go back to Japan at the end of the month but I was also thinking of getting a C11 for myself. Now I'm not so sure! Are Meade SCTs better?
BTW, how's the NGF-CM doing?

Wow Alan. The GRS detail is very nice. You might want to resample your image by about 1.5 Mitchell in Registax.

Here's another image from last night. This was taken about an hour before the image I posted earlier. Note the two red features in the left side of the NNTB. Also of interest is the white oval at the SPR. There is also a big rift activity on the NEB.
