At least Obama put forth a plan on Iraq but all you get from McCain is an attack ad. Geez...
Rod,
You complain frequently how your civil liberties are being trampled on yet you advocate the NYT suppressing an
editorial voice with a different view? Give me a break. Even if your characterization of the situation were any where close to reality you might have noticed this quote from the article you linked....
"Obama’s July 14 essay had taken shots at McCain..." Either those "shots" are ok by you or you don't consider "shots" an "attack". Shouldn't the NYT have suppressed O'Wright's essay also if you buy into the "attack" ad spin you just postulated? Geez...
BTW, interesting post on the day this poll result is published Rod...

It's up to 49% (and growing) who believe the msm is trying to get Obama elected. Here's a related quote from the article:
"A separate survey released this morning also found that 50% of voters believe most reporters want to make the economy seem worse than it is. A plurality believes that the media has also tried to make the war in Iraq appear worse that it really is." Imagine that. Yet there are "knuckleheads" (to use Rod's term for those with a differing opinion) here on this forum that argue a bias doesn't exist. Whether it really does or not, there's an awful lot of "knuckleheads" out there that believe it. The NYT is certainly doing their part.
