Foreign policy not his forte'

Posted By Mike Strieber

Obama, today: "...the goal of helping provide the Libyan people an opportunity to transform their country, by installing a democratic system that respects the people’s will."

Obama, 2009: "Let me be clear: no system of government can or should be imposed upon one nation by any other."

Say it isn't so...

Another Dem with tax "issues"? No way; yet another Dem who demands more of your money in the form of taxes doesn't bother to pay their own? Shocking.

"Could Claire McCaskill's $287,000 tax problem cost Dems the Senate?"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/theweek/20110323/cm_theweek/213427

Ms McCaskill apparantly has a history of tax evasion. Oh I'm sorry, tax "mistakes" as the Democrats like to call it. Like Geithner, Wrangel, Daschel, Kerry, Solis, Sebelius, etc., etc., simple tax misunderstandings.

Wisconsin

Posted By Mike Strieber

I just had to go to the HuffPo to see all the heads exploding after the news of the election in Wisconsin tonight. Yesterday was snoopy dances and high-fives, today is voter fraud, stolen elections, and hate. I haven't had this much fun since Bush stole his election! grin

Gray wolves helped prevent a shutdown...

Posted By Mike Strieber

I was driving to work this morning listening to CNN on Sirius. I heard the anchor woman (not sure who it was) talking about some of the details in the budget agreement. This is what she said..."the republicans even put a rider in that removed gray wolves from the endangered species list, just so they can shoot them."

So I looked into it and found this article from a couple weeks ago. Note the extract...

Montana Sen. Jon Tester (D) said on Friday that he will continue his efforts to fully remove wolves from the Endangered Species Act.

Compromise could take gray wolves off the endangered species list in two states

I'm not real intimate with the plight of wolves but I just thought it was a bit disingenuous for CNN to report it as they did, another example of the liberal bias in the media that doesn't exist I guess.

Violent rhetoric...

Posted By Mike Strieber

Wasn't the Rep. Giffords shooting all about violent rhetoric coming from the right? In fact, it caused it if I recall correctly. You know, the sort of talk the left is above...

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D) of New York..."house republicans are here to kill women.”

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D)...Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wisc.) 2012 budget proposal “passes like a tornado through America’s nursing homes.” "This plan would literally be a death trap for some seniors." Nothing like "death panels" I presume?

Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)... “One of these bills before us, six million seniors are deprived of meals.”

Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)... “This is an opportunity for the right-wing in the House to really sock it to women.”

Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC)... “This is the equivalent of bombing innocent civilians.”

Harry Reid (D-Nev.)... “All this to stop women from getting regular tests and preventative services they need.”

Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD)...“This entire debate has included throwing women and children under the bus.”

Jesse Jackson...“This is a civil war fight.” No race baiting going on here, eh Jesse?

And these folks are just talking about a budget.

Just curious why the media isn't spending weeks talking about this sort of rhetoric; you know, like when they fabricated a "republican issue" with it a few months back. Dems are working the fear vote hard.

Spring Spheres

Brings back great memories; how fondly I recall the joy of a spring sphere hunt in the yard with all my friends.

Retired Lt. Gen. Sanchez weighs run for US Senate
http://washingtonexaminer.com/news/2011/04/retired-lt-gen-sanchez-weighs-run-us-senate

The left's butcher of Abu Ghraib, the very man they say ordered the torture in Iraq, the killer of thousands of Iraqis, the epitome of George Bush's warmongering, the man they demanded resign, the man who retired due to his Abu Ghraib involvement, is running for senate.....as a Democrat!

I can only assume that all the liberals in Texas will be voting for the republican; I mean considering how principled they are and all.

God help me, I love it so.
