Nexstar 5i OTA as a spotting scope

I talked to Celestron Today. I ordered a Mounting block and bolts (part #28907). The rep told me this is the part that allows a C-5 to attach to a standard photo 1/4-20 mount.
Also I ordered a new leg for my Nexstar 5i tripod. The plastic part at the top broke. i noticed Celestron came out with a "new" tripod. Basically the same but with metal tops to the legs.
