For all you Palin supporters...

Chris (Tingle) Matthews: “Palin’s talking to people who don’t read newspapers or watch serious TV shows like mine” 8O

You're all a bunch of dumba#%es so get your act together and start watching Chris Matthews' show to get some serious journalism! grin

This is how delusional MSNBC has become with this Fox isn't a real news network but we are shtick. Olbermann's ratings were dependent on attacking O'Reilly, now that he's gone Matthews is after Beck. He's attacked Beck seven shows in a row now. BTW, MSNBC's dismal ratings are down even further since Olberdork left.

BTW, since being fired from MSNBC, "Bathtub Boy" Olbermann has joined Al Gore's Current TV channel. He should have a huge audience there. I didn't even know the channel existed. Besides, who could watch ice melting for 24 hours a day?

Republicans making rookie mistakes...

...and more.

House Republicans Try to Regroup After String of Setbacks
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/02/11/house-republicans-try-regroup-series-setbacks/

I've never seen Republicans look so much like Democrats in their inability lead. I'll say it again, Republicans are on a fast track to lose everything in 2012, and the Tea Party will go a long way in helping them realize that predicament. The Tea Party harmed the Republicans in November, they are harming them in their ability to govern now, and will harm them again in 2012.

Not only are Republicans not concentrating on jobs and the economy, they are busy alienating voters, bumbling through procedural mine fields, concentrating on social issues when they were asked to do other things by the voters, and are just generally looking silly. You also have turncoat Rubio snubbing the very Tea Party who got him elected. You have CPAC looking like a porn industry convention here in Vegas with half the members booed when they go up to the mic; they are just plain looking silly and unorganized. I thought I was watching the uprising in Cairo yesterday and it turned out to be the television feed from CPAC. To top it all off we get the "Craigslist Stalker".

I for one have not seen yet what I voted for in November and have little hope anything will change from the two years prior to the mid-terms.

Besides that, the Republicans are looking great.

House Moves to Defund Obama's Teleprompter

http://driftwood1.newsvine.com/_news/2011/02/16/6065842-house-moves-to-defund-obamas-teleprompter

I've been ragging on Republicans lately for not focusing on jobs like they promised but this one I must admit I kind of like. grin

Sheila Jackson-Lee

Posted By Mike Strieber

I want to know who is voting for this woman!

At a House Judiciary Committee hearing about the individual mandate to buy insurance, Jackson-Lee said, “I would make the argument, one, that it [the individual mandate] is an incentive to do right – that it is not penalizing you because a penalty is punishment, and you’re not punished if you have health insurance, in fact.

“And so, you are in fact incentivized to have health insurance rather than take the negative, which is to suggest that because you have a penalty you’re being punished,” she said.

Jackson-Lee is incorrect, however, as the language of the law clearly states the following: “If an applicable individual fails to meet the requirement of subsection (a) [have government-approved insurance]… there is hereby imposed a penalty with respect to the individual, Section 5000A of the law reads.”

Another section of the health care law, entitled “Payment of Penalty,” stipulates that if an individual fails to carry a government-approved health insurance policy for any month during the year, they must pay a maximum penalty of $750.

Let me remind you if I may, this is the same person to ask NASA if the Mars rovers will take a picture of the flag Armstrong planted there. If I'm not mistaken I think she evens represents the district the NASA Manned Space Flight Center (Houston) is in. This is just one of the gems this woman can take credit for.

What is truly sad is she will continue to get elected in her district. Our only hope is that redistricting will do away with her district. The risk in that is Obama would make her Education Secretary or something.

This is what is leading our nation.

The smoking gun...birthers are rejoicing....

Gaddafi: Barakeh Obama is friend
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3877174,00.html

Gaddafi: "He [Obama] is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama."

Gaddafi is after all a very reliable source. At least he will be to the birthers; Gaddafi is now a birther's best friend. grin
Mike

PS: Take a look at some of the comments under the article, especially the ones coming out of Israel. It doesn't appear they are too fond of Barakeh.

Put a cherry on top...

...of the entire affair by arresting the Wisconsin 14 at the border when they return tomorrow. Oh, the outrage over the fabricated Bush "stolen" election yet these 14 democracy thieves are hailed as heroes by the left. The Wisconsin voters chose a Republican form of government for a reason, to see conservative principals applied to their government. These 14 criminals have decided on their own that the voters didn't know what they were doing and took matters into their own hands. They have literally robbed the Wisconsin citizens of their votes. At a minimum they should be removed from office, and as far as I'm concerned prison time should not be off the table (of late the Dems favorite phrase; everything is on the table!; one phrase fits all when faced with a crisis and you have no clue what to do). Whether you agree with the issue of collective bargaining or not you have to be repulsed by what these 14 Democrats have done.

Oh, and by the way, I fully anticipate tomorrow there will be a plethora of Wisconsin teachers, with fake sick notes, dragging their clueless students with faux outrage to the State House with molotov cocktails and pitchforks. As was done the other day, the Tea Party will have to organize a rally to clean up the mess the protesters make on the grounds and in the rotunda. It wouldn't surprise me to see burning trash cans and vehicles tomorrow. Perhaps a little rock throwing for good measure as well. The students of the school bus driver who collectively bargained his $156,000 salary will be proud.

The left must truly appreciate President Obama's leadership on these crucial issues of late...the budget fight, Wisconsin, Lybia....crickets from the White House. Is someone really in charge of this country? I forgot.

Sheila Jackson Lee, yes she's at it again. SNL couldn't write material this rediculous. What is with you people in Texas? Why do you have this woman represent you?

Short clips and so well worth it! I especially like it when she quotes herself in the third person.

F-15 down in Libya

Sounds like it was a mechanical issue that brought it down. Libya of course has claimed they shot it down. Both crewmembers are back in US hands.
