I encourage you to watch the video from the documentary filmmaker hired by the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys embedded him with their group before and after the insurrection on 1/6. The Proud Boys thought they would be remembered as patriots and wanted to document what they saw as heroic acts, but that were crimes. The documentary filmmaker is an accidental witness to the Proud Boys and their plans to breach and storm the Capitol. Many people at the speech at the Ellipse knew they would ultimately march on and breach the Capitol. It was not a secret among the participants at the Ellipse speech that day that they would all march on the Capitol and riot. The filmmaker's tapes are the main reason the DOJ has charged and convicted many Proud Boys with seditious conspiracy. This filmmaker's existence and evidence were unknown to the public until yesterday. The 1/6 committee has much more non-public evidence to release. My point is this is about much more than Trump merely lying once or twice about the election results. You are trivializing how aggressively and vociferously Trump and his cohorts pushed and weaponized the big lie to try and hold onto power.

I challenge anyone to go back in the forum history and find where I said that. My position is and always has been, is that Trump is his own worst enemy. Maybe when they were trying to get the GOP on board and give them an equal voice on the committee they should have taken it. It’s going to look bad, and that was just the first hearing. I can’t stand Ms. Cheney, but she at least has scruples, something that is lacking in about 1/3 of the US voters. She’s was like a Velociraptor in her opening statement. Clever girl. I think she’s going to come out on top and Trump will be toast when it’s over.
