What Changed in this nation?

And it would be great if somebody would tell Biden a different joke. There can hardly be a dumber joke than, "the deer do not wear kevlar."

Is it as simple as kids are less likely to obey parents compounded by the parents are less likely to have a lot of strict rules?
Are modern kids in their own world (much different than parents) sooner now, so parents have less influence?
Millions of kids are on legal and illegal drugs now. Do the largest cities now give young people a more difficult start? Do young people now have less character? Something happened.
Our problem is larger than guns.
There has to be a thousand brilliant people that have and are studying this, "What happened" problem. Why hasn't somebody made this more clear to us by now? Even if we do not like all the answers!

Could be an advantage being at a store. Might be told fifty times before somebody hears it twice.

Report: Trump Approved Of Hanging Mike Pence

I'll guess each party has a position on the 6th and will stick to it. Very few people know it is happening. None of us did.
It could even be the case that for every Dem that is enthused by it, two non-Dems will think who cares about the partisan hype of something that happened years (my hype) ago.

Or, I could go on a 75-100 line rant beating down poor Rich because he is wrong, he's a moron, he's a buffoon and so on.   I would quote a federal statute and call him an idiot.  He would reply boldly stating that he was talking about Italy and France, not the US.  Maybe he would reply that he was talking about parents serving their kids at home or some other exception to the general rule...  We would engage in several cycles of name calling.  In the end, Rich would convince himself that he was right all along.  No one, absolutely no one, would believe him.  That exercise  takes a lot of time and energy though, so I'll pass.

Possible Red Flag

Posted By Mel Maki

In a small town it could have been suspicious that a young guy spent that much money in a couple of days. In a good warning system that might have been flagged. He did start shooting quickly after the purchase, though, I think.

I was one that said getting more weapons sooner would have helped Ukraine. This got quite a reaction from you. How in the world are you getting this is wrong? A strange hill to die on.

So? Most of the deaths are suicides. What point do you think this makes? If I think I need a gun for self defense, I get one. What  does it matter how many guns are in the state? Your posts today are weaker than usual!

It turns out there was NO school resource officer on the scene inside the school, so the killer wasn't confronted.

I know the story of 1 particular woman who was raped by her assailant and she was lucky enough to get away from him for a split second, and fooled him saying she needed to get into her closet.

He let her do so, and when she retrieved her gun she fired 11 shots at him and hit him a couple of times out of the 11 she fired.

He kept  coming at her and so she had to keep firing.

Luckily he finally ran, jumped the fence, and was found dead a few blocks away.

I wonder how many other women needed more than 10 rounds to kill their assailant?

Who knows which round hit him, #3 or #11.

Of course we'll never know, but best to limit her ability to protect herself from evil.
Look, all people have to do is call the police. They will be protected.
