127

Posted By Stephen Shlafer

I see that there will be a sale in the ES refractors. I will soon have a SV 110 ED f/7 refractor with a SV M2 mount and tripod. The ES Carbon Fiber 127 f/7.5 will add ~ 33% light gathering power over the ES 110. At 14# I could still use my M2 mount.
Are the optics good enough of the ES 127 APO along with the added 33% light gathering power able to give me much more than my SV 110 Ed which has excellent optics?

cases

I recently purchased a set of 5 RKE eyepieces. They came tissue wrapped with no caps et al. Are there plastic cases or the like to keep these in ?

SV 60 ED

Have an SV 80 ED f/7 with an SV 110EDf/7 on the way. Was considering an SV 127 but may go smaller with an SV 60 ED before they disappear.

Auction lost

Posted By Stephen Shlafer

Recently I bid on an auction for a Nagler 9mm Type 2. I left home ~30 minutes before it was to close. When I came back all traces of the auction were gone. I couldn't even find it on "auctions I have won" or "auctions I have lost". I'm pretty sure the closing date was Dec.1.
What happened?
